I found the atmosphere to be nice, especially outside with a great view of downtown. There were not a lot of choices on the... menu if you are a healthy eater. I ordered the salmon, and it was cooked perfectly and was good. The biggest turnoff was ourwaitress. It took 30 minutes to get a cocktail, and she had a huge attitude. Another waitress rolled her eyes at us when myfriend asked her something. The final faux pas was stacking the dirty dishes and silverware in the center of the table when wewere finished. Poitin is a lovely restaurant. Very expensive, but with the level of service you'd expect for the price. Enjoyed nearly the full... appetizer list-- tremendous variety and all very satisfying. The entrees were excellent-- the fish and chicken were bothwell-prepared and very nicely presented. The dessert menu, though, is something of a disaster. The concept, it seems, isdeconstruction, but each of the four dessert plates we had felt lazy and out of place compared to the rest of the meal. Get agood group together, enjoy the first two courses and extensive wine list, and just take everyone out for an actual dessertafterward instead. Read more
Loved just about everything here. Especially the aesthetic. Staff was very accommodating and friendly. Very large open spaces.... Really cool new area, and right across the street from holler brewery. I do with they had a few more options for brunch, buteverything my table had was fantastic. Really nice vibe to the place too. I've been here for happy hour and due to a last minute change in plans, had a dinner party for 16. It was great. I highly... recommend it. The servers take pride in their work and made all wonderful drink and good recommendations. +1 for the waterwaiter who recognized my shoes. Read more
Trendy new and nice. Good food and good drinks. Great view of the city. Nice outdoor patio. Highly recommend.
