I mean, this place is fine if you?re looking for very average pasta that doesn?t allow for many customizations. I was... disappointed to see that this place didn?t allow many customizations since it is surrounded by other, build-your-ownestablishments like Chipotle, Mod Pizza, and Salada. The pasta itself isn?t that enticing. Pasta is cooked past al dente andbecomes mealy. Sauce is thin and not salted too well, and the meat is somewhat dry. I've enjoyed some quick to go meals that are hot and fresh from Piada. I've had the chefs favorite with grilled chicken and also... with steak. Both were good if you also like spicy food. I came to Houston for business. After deciding between several places, I decided to come to this place. The restroom and... restaurant was clean. The food served quick. The reason for the 1 star is that my food was served cold. When I asked to have itreheated, I got looks of discontent from the staff. Bad customer service not to mention serious and grave violations of foodsafety which could even be of a fatal situation. Even though it tasted good. I think that at the price the patron should get thefood hot and if not served hot at least corrected and an apology be given. No apology was offered or given. So for me it's anautomatic failure and deserves no stars. Remember 1 major mess up erase 10 attaboys. The bad thing is I'm am an out of townvisitor. Read more
Winner winner chicken dinner. NOT IN THIS CASE. I'm going to have to pass. My sister ordered takeout from here today 9/8/2022.... She ordered the carbonara pasta with double chicken and when she bit into a chicken piece it was completely raw. Notexaggerating. Refer to the attached picture. That is a HUGE health hazard! I want to vomit just thinking about it. She calledthe manager immediately and they told her to post a review and attach a picture. They didn't even sound apologetic. Greatcustomer service guys. Clean restaurant, friendly staff. Piada always tastes delicious!! Love their avocado piada, very filling and worth your money.
The latest trend in counter service food seems to be what Subway has been doing for ages -- preparing your food as you go down a... line. There's quite a few burrito chains out there as well as pizza chains. And I was happy to find Piada as a similar optionfor pasta, sandwiches, and salads. There's little not to like. I had pasta, tomato sauce, and chicken served quick and hot. The service is friendly and it's speedy -- to the point that you easily do a 30 minute lunch if you work nearby. Read more
Loved eating here on opening day. Was very excited to see that they are opening a new location in the Med Center! Prices are... decent, staff was friendly, and food was incredibly delicious. I?d recommend this place to anybody. I think this will be a bithit for students and employees in the Med center. Read more
Place was amazing as we got inside. Nice interior design and cozy, dark atmosphere. Service was nice as they were willing to... double check if our orders were correct before they even put one single piece of spinach on out plate. Refills are free. Foodwas amazing. I recommend a carbonara with grilled chicken and fried calamari. Best dish ever! Read more
