An excellent choice if you want a quick and inexpensive place to eat. This place has some airport markup especially on the... drinks (3-3.75), but not too much. I went there early in the morning so the food was kind of gummy from the congealed cornstarch. Yet they do cook through the day. Portions were kind of small compared to other Panda Resturants. We had Menu Plate (Nudles, Kung Pao, Sweet Chicken). Price was around 10 dollar's. You can choose for this price: 1x side dish... (rice, noodles) 2x two types of meat mixtures. I wish I would have snapped this pic sooner, but trust that this beef to broccoli ratio is accurate. Good thing I'm not a huge... red meat eater. Even so, massive ripoff. And the "super greens" side? Cabbage. Seriously. Read more
Mediocre experience. Late evening. Long lines. They were out of more things than they had available. Food definitely wasn?t... fresh. I get that it?s the end of the day and they try to predict what will be needed to fill orders that may come, but come oneyou have to have fresh food and you have to have more items available than not. The employees don?t seem to be very patientwith all the questions about what menu items are available or will be available. Again, this could be remedied by having mostitems available. This is a Panda Express inside Terminal E. They offer the full Panda Express menu and I usually get the LoMein with the Sweet &... Sour Chicken or Shrimp. The place can get pretty busy but the staff is quite good at moving quickly thru the line. There areother restaurants around the food court but this is the only one offering Chinese food. I was just inside the food quart at the Houston International Airport when saw dozens of people with Panda Express Styrofoam... to-go containers. I asked a Panda Express employee [cashier] how many customers they serve each day, she immediately replyed"7,000-8,000 every single day". Imagine how many Panda Expresses world-wide are continuing to use styrofoam containers becausethey are cheaper for the company rather than switching to a sustainable option. Styrofoam containers are both toxic andnon-recyclable. This is NOT sustainable end also adds to our Global Pollution Crisis. Definitely not the worst Panda Express I've been to. But I did notice is this location is super busy; they had one cashier, one... prepping in the back, and one making food in the front. The Orange chicken was sitting for a little bit but it was still edibleand delicious. For the amount of staff and people in line I think they did the best that they could. Read more
