I had the pleasure of visiting North China Restaurant on a trip to Houston and it was nothing less than amazing. As you approach... the restaurant you're greeted by an exceptionally impressive and large mural on the outside of the building. As you enter you'regreeted with a welcoming and warm interior, definitely unlike any other Asian restaurant I've had the opportunity to visit. Theservice was great. The food was even better. This is a hidden gem for me! I?ve never seen this place since it?s in the corner of a shopping center and there?s a lot of trees... next to it. BUT I?m glad I found this place. First time here. Got pork fried potstickers which came with a spicy little sauce. Loved it. For my entree, I got the pong lai... (first time trying anywhere). It was amazing! Sweet, with a little spice, just the right amount of sauce, chicken had a perfectcrisp. Also got a Tsingtao beer (another first), very good. On top of all that, the service was 5 star and all the employees hada genuine smile and demeanor. I?ll be back probably again and again and again?
