We visited around 5 p.m. There were not many customers. The staff was friendly and the food was served quickly. We felt the... store was too hot because all the menus were hot. The food and kimchi were all delicious. Read more

A very unique noodle experience! I've never had cold noodles let alone cold broth noodles, so I of course wanted to expand my... curiosity... I got their pan fried pork dumplings and bibimguksu (#10 on menu), which is hand pulled chlorella noodles (analgae with a bunch of nutritional benefits) with spicy sauce, veggie assortments, and a half hard boiled egg. The noodles alsocome with two types of kimchi as your complimentary side [ I personally prefer the white kimchi over red b/c the red kimchireminded me of Ba Khia crab not my favorite :( ]. Here's my verdict: Pan fried dumpling (4/5): solid! I just love pan frieddumplings and this dish felt elevated with the complimentary kimchi sides. Bibimguksu (4.5/5): Like other yelpers, the one wordto describe this noodle dish is that it's very refreshing! The texture of the noodles and veggies is the highlight. Al dente, bouncy noodles paired with the fresh crunchiness of radish, cucumber, cabbage, and other components of the dish makes it wellrounded! I do believe, however, that my meal didn't feel complete/satisfying without the pan fried dumplings. As much as I lovethe bibimguksu, it was difficult to clean the bowl because of that rich, savory spicy sauce. Imo, this meal is best enjoyed withthe bibimguksu + pan fried pork dumpling combo. Overall, a pleasant experience. Looking forward for the opportunity to trytheir other noodle dishes! Read more

I used to live in Houston and now I?ve been living in WA for a year. The owner is super nice and always welcoming( and the staff... was very kind as well) I miss this place so much! I?ve been to Korea a week ago and went to the Original MDK noodles in SeoulMyung- dong and I was disappointed. It wasn?t like this place...(not even closed) The amount of portion was very small andsalty. And the kimchi tasted also bad. I wish MDK opens another one around my area so badly!!! Whoever lives in Houston, Pleaseenjoy this legit restaurant more often! The last picture is from the Seoul branch. Read more

I would say it?s okay but it?s definitely not impressive among other Korean restaurants in Chinatown in particular. It also... feels like they serve pre-cooked or frozen food. It is totally fine but maybe a little bit extra garnish would make itbetter? There are two complimentary side dishes but both are kimchi. I wish one was fish cake. That being said, I still enjoythe noodle soup and bulgogi is also good. I like they serve barley tea, very refreshing. Read more

The steamed dumplings are easily my favorite dish to order here. The portion sizes are pretty large (especially the soups), the... kimchi is strong, and the service is quick! Cold noodles on a hot summer day is super refreshing! It's also vegetarian friendly! Read more
