Walked in and heard the Cashier named ?Q? belittling and embarrassing her Co-worker who was prepping the crepes and fruits, he... was doing a great job but she wanted to speak to him like a child or dog. It was very off putting so I walked out and didn?teven put in a order for my crepe because I couldn?t even look at this woman, her behavior was atrocious! Talk to people nicerand do better ?Q?! Came here twice and had two very different experiences. The first time around, the owner/manager (?) was there. He was super... friendly! The have a vegan/glutenfree batter (yay!), so I asked if it would be okay to wipe the surface and rinse the utensilssuper quickly, so that cross contamination is minimized. He agreed and made suggestions for the crêpe filling. The crêpe wassuper delicious! The second time around, the staff refused to wipe the surface or rinse the spatula, so I couldn?t eat at thisrestaurant. We then ended up going to Sweet Paris, since they prepare their glutenfree batter in a dedicated allergen free areaor, depending on the location, clean the surface and utensils before. It was a real bummer because I like Melange and it?s cozyatmosphere. I?m so happy they offer vegan/glutenfree batter, but what?s the point if the staff won?t even rinse down theutensils which would only take a few seconds. The interior is beautiful, it always smells like delicious crêpes, and it?s avery cozy place. The coffee is also very good and they offer several plant-milk options. Read more
Water was Dirty they didn?t clean the container, even when they put new cups, water was still coming dirty from the container,... and they refuse to clean it. Great service! Staff is so friendly and make you not feel like a burden or A hole for coming in. The jian bing great meaty... ,flavorful, not too spicy ! And the lumpia is a great choice the onions and tomatoes make for such a great taste ! A huge pluswas the hibiscus ???? agua fresca was on point. Read more
I actually ended up here due to a friends craving of Crepés. Prior to arriving, I had made up my mind that I was not going to... eat anything. I had a presumption of Crepés being a dessert, not a meal. My mother loves crepes & enjoys eating at CocoCrepés, Waffles, & Coffee. Once inside, I glanced at the menu and realized they offer crepes which have proteins whichsurprised me. So I decided to order a custom Veggie Crepe with the DOSA batter, black bean spread, & sautéed potatoes pairedwith their house made green tomatillo salsa. I was impressed at how delicious the veggie crepe which contains local roastedvegetables which consisted of zucchini, beets, carrots, a few more. I devoured the veggie crepé & felt satisfied. I had triedcrepes prior that had sweet ingredients. So this experience changed my presumption of crepés. Melange Creperie has an exteriorthat no one can miss, it is a ?pink? home with inside & outside seating. Staff is helpful & will accommodate to anysubstitutions of ingredients one desires, definitely would recommend to anyone! Read more
Not too bad? However, the roasted vegetables in my crêpe were very crunchy (a bit undercooked) and I ended with mild stomach... sickness. Which are mutually exclusive things, of course, leading me to believe my crêpe shell may have been a tad underdone aswell, since I eat raw vegetables all the time without illness. Unfortunately, I've had time to consider and rule out anypossibility it was anything else. I think it was just very busy that night, not at all intentional.
