Pho and other similar dishes taste pretty good, but it's definitely on the pricier side. Parking is slightly confusing, it's... across the street and slightly diagonal to the restaurant. Wanted to pickup something before the eateries closed downtown. Made a quick run to Mai's and picked up some Curry Tofu.... Unfortunately, I couldn't substitute rice and get vegetables instead. It wasn't a big deal, life goes on. Made it back to theoffice and found that the rice was in a separate container so it worked out. I gave the rice to someone else and proceeded toeat the Tofu. Love it here. It?s always a crowd but the move very quickly. The food is consistently good a well as the service. I usually... don?t order drinks but my family member wanted one while we waited for our name to be call. The bartender was extremely rude andignored her, then told her no I can?t fix you a drink. My hubby then went to the bar & he fixed the drink for him. So because ofthat I took off a star. We ordered #97, I always get this dish. It?s a filet mignon with veggies. The food came rather quickly. They had amazing pho! My friend ordered their shrimp fried rice, and it wasn?t the best. The... service was also a bit odd, and they didn?t bring us water until we asked once. At that point, all our food was already broughtout. They also sat us in a corner in the back? Love this place! If you can?t decide what to order then just say this: lychee martini, spring rolls, and the shaking beef. Salt... and pepper shrimp is also super yum. Always delicious and a must while in Houston. They?re always pretty busy so sometimes foodand service can take a while. Easily one of my family?s favorite restaurants in Houston. My wife?s been coming since the old location. The egg rolls usually... don?t even hit the plate before they?re gone. Everything?s great, including the service, but the garlic beef is one of mygo-tos. The chicken wings are also terrific. Read more
