Ordinarily I have a pretty good experience (except for a time when a lady behind the counter told me that I didn't buy a drink... even though the other workers showed her the receipt). Today I had a really bad experience. I ordered through Door Dash, andwhen I received my order, the gravy looked nothing like cream gravy or even gravy at all. What's more is that my steak had saltall over it. Whoever does the orders should be swapped out. I ended up having to make my own gravy. Read more
Nasty floors. Ick! (Made me wonder what the kitchen looks like through those greasy swinging doors.) The chicken fried steak I... ordered was cooked in rancid grease. Canned green beans. Instant mashed potatoes. Cold morning molasses thick nasty creamgravy. Rubber so-called, "dinner rolls". All of it unseasoned and bland except for the bitter, cooked yesterday, "chicken-friedsteak". At least it offered some type of flavor, as yucky as it was. This place is appallingly bad. Best thing that I canadvise, is to continue past this place, to the McDonald's a little further down the street where you can go out back to thedumpster and fish something out of there that is far better to eat than anything in this establishment. The fried chicken was great and my husband enjoyed his salisbury steak (it was huge), we both had mash potatoes with gravy. The... corn bread was decent and of course our vegetables. Both meals cost 28 bucks, but at least we enjoyed our meal. Read more
This location has been here awhile and it shows. It definitely needs to be updated in every aspect. It has a funky smell to it. ... The food was good but they have lost their touch. No season in any of the food. The only great thing was customer service. Everyone was happy and kind. Not sure if I'll come back. Read more
The line workers have extremely bad attitudes specifically the young man on vegetables and the short woman on bread. No name... tags or I would put them here. The food was lukewarm and the dining room is nasty. I had to walk around to find a cleantable. This is not my first unpleasant experience but I thought I would give them another try. This is my favorite location & the food is always good when I go here. Sometimes the food lacks seasoning or is too salty, but... majority of the time it?s spot on. If you have not had the Green Chili Chicken soup you are definitely missing out! It?s onlyserved on Tuesday & Thursday & I take full advantage! The food was really good today for Thanksgiving. I didn't get the traditional; I got liver and onions. I was impressed.... Delicious. The rest of family got the traditional Thanksgiving meal and they enjoyed it. So Thank You Lucy's for a job well doneand Happy Thanksgiving to All. Read more
