I have been wanting to try their granny\'s cake since I first saw they were going to be opening. My dad went for dinner here... yesterday, so I met him there to try the cake. It seems to be your basic poke cake and it\'s quite tasty. I\'ve given up sugar,so it was a pinch sweet for me but I really liked the coarse texture and it was very tasty. I don\'t eat seafood and I hadalready had dinner but my dad was very happy. He had the wedge salad and a cup of she crab soup, which he said was very good. Hehad seen (or thought he saw) shrimp cocktail when he looked online but it was not on the menu. When Eddie came around to see ifwe needed anything, my dad asked about the shrimp cocktail. Eddie went to ask about it and came back and said they could make ithappen. And they did! It looked lovely and the shrimp were plump and my dad loved it. The restaurant itself is very cute...smallbut very open and clean. The prices are very reasonable. The staff is just wonderful. They are all so very welcoming andattentive and want to make sure everyone is happy and enjoying their experience. Glad they\'re in the Branch and hope theystick around...I will definitely head back to try some of their non-seafood offerings. Read more
A little nice gem in Spring Branch. Food and service were excellent. The oyster nachos were something new for me to try, and... just loved it. Plenty of surface parking space, easy access and friendly service. Have to go back to try more menu items. Read more
Great find in Spring Branch! Brought back memories of growing up in South Carolina. We tried the CHICKEN and SAUSAGE GUMBO,... CRAB CAKE, and BLACKENED-FISH SANDWICH with FRIES. GUMBO was full flavored and not obscured by rice. The CRAB CAKE was toppedwith a lime butter lump crab sauce…definitely a twist to an old favorite. The catfish was large and superbly cooked…moist,but flaky! Definitely want to return to try many of the other items on the menu. Read more
Newly opened restaurant with fresh flavorful seafood dishes and good cocktails. They just opened this week and are currently... only serving dinner, but lunch and brunch are coming soon. The space is small and the decor is lacking. You can also tell thestaff is still getting accustomed to things, but they were friendly and attentive. Had to come out to try the newest hotspot in town. We came for dinner, and EVERYTHING was amazing. Our server Jenee was very... attentive and sweet. The ceviche was to die for, and we especially enjoyed the shrimp burger and the deviled crab in theseafood platter. We LOVED our watermelon pineapple margarita and the banana espresso cocktail - so unique and delicious! Toofull for dessert; will need to come back to try more! Read more
Really enjoyed dinner. For appetizer, the oyster nacho was surprisingly tender and flavorful. Never had it before, I really... enjoyed it. Also had the fish ceviche, is very refreshing and doesn’t have any fishy taste. I ordered the blackenedparley’s seafood platter with deviled crab, flounder and corn dodger.
