A friend invited me here for the first time and I didn?t have any expectations. But whilst in line to order I started noticing... most people getting the chicken and waffles so I thought why not, I will too. Omg - so good! Like?a revelation! I asked for thetoppings on the side but next time I?d just get it all on top like it?s meant to be. The serving of fried chicken issubstantial. First time going, very quiet environment, server was not really helpful when asking questions. I never been so i wasnt aware of... how it works. I wasn't a fan of the seating. The food was okay. The chicken and waffles were good but I would have preferredactual chicken instead of chicken steaks. The coffee was not the best but it will do. Was a little disappointed they had no hotchocolate on the menu, not the syrup option. Over all was a great breakfast, I would recommend you give them a try. Read more
A cute little restaurant in the Heights. My friend and I stopped there for breakfast on Saturday morning and must have managed... to time it during a lull. We decided to split the CFS, grits, and eggs served with toast. It was delicious and just the rightamount. The atmosphere reminded me of the old-fashioned diners of my childhood. Chicken and waffles is a guest favorite. No one in my group ordered this and we regretted that mistake. The food was... tasty. Order at the counter and they?ll bring the food to you. You grab your own utensils and coffee/drinks. There are indoorand outdoor seating options. The indoor vibe reminds you old an old diner but Heights/more updated style. The staff was very friendly, and the place had this little retro look. The food took a bit because the kitchen was barely... opening. However the food was so delicious. I recommend the chicken friend steak, it comes with 2-3 eggs, toast, and potatoes.Everything was amazing and totally worth the 20-30 minute drive. Read more
Food was very good! My daughter had the chicken and waffles. Juicy chicken breast fried crispy. I had the so cal omelette.... Giving 4 stars because the silverware wasn?t the cleanest. Didn?t see any plastic ware, but I didn?t ask either. Will bereturning! Read more
