I have eaten hot pot five other times. Tonight was number six and the best yet. A Chinese friend told me about this place and we... went together. Expect a wait it was very busy. We had the mushroom soap and the spicy one. My mouth love the spicy but mystomach isn't so sure. So I was careful not to use the spicy very much but it was delicious. We ordered an assortment of meats, seafood and vegetables. I especially liked the homemade tofu. All in all it was a great meal. Oh and BTW we had fresh watermelonjuice, what a treat. Read more

What an incredible hotpot experience with all you can eat meat and authentic chongqing flavor. I can?t recommend it enough.... There are a ton of hotpot restaurants in Houston but if you are looking for that spicy Chongqing hotpot, Liuyishou is a musttry. Most of the meat options on the menu are great along with veggies but some of the sought after meat selections are extrawhich is fair. This hotpot is definitely not overpriced given how much you pay at Haidilao. Loved the spice levels, though wegot the moderate, I think I could have done medium. Lamb and beef were both great along with enoki, quail eggs, amazing saucebar. Definitely fills you up so make sure you plan accordingly to maximize your visit. Now here is the not so great part - waittime are loooong - especially on weekends and they don?t take reservations on the phone during these days so your best bet is todrive there and join the waitlist. Took us 45-60 mins on Saturday at 2pm. The shopping complex has a lot of other places likebubble tea and bakery where you can spend some time before your turn. The have group tables and individual ones too so they goteveryone covered. Sadly they were out of Bingfen and I would imagine it runs out fast because it is just a small extra charge sowe had to manage with some bluebell ice cream which was fine. Read more

First time trying hot pot and didn?t disappoint! Phenomenal selection, prices are fair! Watermelon juice is phenomenal!! Got the... house broth (mild-which was super spicy but mild for my spice tolerant bf) and the pork bone broth both had amazing flavor. Theyhad a make your own sauce bar, had a pretty good selection! Some of our add ins were the cabbage, sliced beef, sliced lamb, oyster mushroom, cow tongue, Korean sausage and tripe! Sliced beef was the table favorite! Bonus they are open late for latenight diners like us! The wait staff was amazing and never let us want for anything! Read more

What an awesome experience. First of all, people here are very nice, and the place is very clean. Food: Everything was great!... Meat are very well cut and prepared. Seafood is fresh, and vegetables are clean. The soup base is very tasty andrich. Service: Servers are very nice, this place is usually super busy, I?m very surprised that with the chaos, they can stilltake very well care of everyone and every table. (They noticed we have a baby, and made a ?cup? for the baby so she could haveher drink without spilling, even though it was not asked. I was very pleased) This is a great place to eat out with friends andfamily, however, the only thing is that they are ridiculously busy and reservation is suggested. But reservation is onlyavailable for 4+ during the weekday, and 5+ during the weekend. Read more

Quality food at a very reasonable price. Liu Yi Shou is running a buffer special. They items in the buffet menu is pretty large.... Good varieties and fresh seafood. I love their sauce bar, you can almost find any sauce item to make authentic sauce late foryour meal. And the sauce bar has lots fruits and dessert. There are also lots of special items they put on the menu you canorder separately. Something other place doesn?t have like the duck blood, taste like super soft tofu. Specialty item like theirhomemade flat thin noodle, cooked beef tongue, super soft and tasty. Shrimp was jumble size and super fresh great texture, great selectors of soft drink special drinks from China. Duck soup was so good and light so you can drink it before you startyour hot pot, spicy sauce is light so If you like heavy taste order super spicy is good. Lamb was the best meat! Bette than thespecialty meat, so soft and think enough, doesn?t cost extra either. Best services!! They are super fast and they away my emptydish immediately. Highly recommended and will go back again. Read more

Went there with my friends on Tuesday around 5:30, I made reservation prior to arrived to the restaurant so we didn't wait in... line, the food is very authentic Chinese hot pots and has variety of hot pot soup to choose from. Personally my favorite is themushroom soup with the spicy soup, you can have some mushroom soup before hot pot and enjoy the delicious mushroom soup. Theemployee are very friendly and fast serving. I'll definitely go back there more! Remember to wear a one-time use apron to keepyour clothes clean as well as the watermelon juice it just delicious. And the cool thing about it is they have hand sanitizer onevery single table!
