First time to a La Michoacana. Stopped by here to check it out. Interested in the taqueria there and got a beef taco, also... wanted a tamale too but tamales were not available, so we got a pack of tamales from the deli section instead (to take home). Thought taco and tamales were authentic and liked them a lot. Also got a slice of tres leche cake and it was moist but not toodrenched in milk so liked it. I looked for canned squid, which I had seen in a Mexican section of a grocery store before, butdid not see it here but would like to go back to look for other special items. Read more
The taquaria is always good. Nice and clean store with friendly staff. My go to place for ready to cook pastor.
I have been going to this place for years now but today I experienced terrible customer service at the food area. The ladies... there will ignore you if you are standing directly in front of them and will assist other people. Hopefully this review causesyou to think twice before going there to eat. Read more
The people at the food bar are rude. The tacos were awful, I like the other Michoacana but these were horrible. The meat was so... hard on one I couldn't chew and the chicharon on the other was stale. They probably use what the don't sell after a certain datefrom the meat market. Read more
I don't know what this is but this is NOT Barbacoa. The big lump is solid and everything else around it is mince. I actually... tried it and it taste like it was but through a grinder first. NEVER going back there again. Complete fail. Read more
Very disappointed with my last couple of visits. We used to get our seasoned fajita meat and bread from here but the last few... weeks the meat has been terrible, they seem to be selling old, expired meat. The bread tasted horrible, the inner part of thecake was slimy, it should be a firm consistency. Too bad because this was our go to place for meat. Read more
