If you are in the Mid-Town / Downtown area and are looking for street tacos...look no further!! This is a great location with... some delicious food! They have a full bar, tons of tequilas and several frozen drinks! I sampled the Rumchata and it is prettygood! They have bathrooms that require a code, kiosks to order, and a grass area next door so bring the kids!! It\'s all openair dinning so perfect when there weather is nice out. Plenty of seating. Give it a try if you\'re in the area. No dedicatedparking so plan ahead and our meal did seem a little pricey. Great place for lunch!!! Read more

The Carnitas Chilaquiles we\'re delicious,\nThe Carnitas are very tasty and the salsa (a bit spicy) and chips are amazing, the... refried beans they give you on the side are so delicious.\n\nThe staff was very friendly and attentive I would definitelyrecommend it. Read more

My first time visiting her was on Sunday. I had a nice time. The food was pretty good in my opinion, yes, they were small but... you are given 4 and it had everything on it. Also, I got the pineapple margarita - that was actually delicious. I drunk it ALL.Now, it is a tad bit pricey but not too bad. I would come here again but it\'s not a regular occasion. They have specialsthroughout the week so ima try their taco Tuesday to see how that goes. The servers were great too. Read more

I absolutely loved my experience at la Calle. The food is great and the drinks are even better! Everyone is so inviting and... friendly, but the bartender Maria is the absolute best! She is sweet, super attentive, and great at her job. Best bartenderever. If I could give 6 stars I would. 10/10 recommend. Read more

No. Just no. The “street” tacos were ridiculously expensive, tiny (see hand for scale next to 4 tacos) and not even good.... The meat was way over cooked giving it a rubbery, chewy feel and the corn tortillas all broke with the slightest touch. And theelote - guys, why was it soupy? They didn’t drain the corn and it diluted the whole flavor. The frozen margarita was terrible- way too sugary and somehow still tart? I guess this spot is good to hangout because of the location but other than that, nope. Read more

Sorry,.. I\'m a regular at the location Downtown on Franklin St and I live right by Bagby LaCalle location. The Drinks are okay,... however the tacos are complete trash. Whomever is working back there isn\'t the same individuals from the Downtown location. Nocare in the world for the quality of the taco. I\'ve received sloppy, greasy, soaked, smashed together, broken tacos the lastthree visits to this spot. It\'s funny, I just saw one of the Owners/Mgr the other day on Gray St. I\'m completely done with theBagby location!!!!! Needs a lot of improvements!!!! Read more

I went here around 1pm on a Saturday. It wasn\'t crowded at all so we got our drinks immediately after ordering. We ordered... tacos which only took 10 minutes to be ready. I got a frozen margarita which you can request to add flavors to. I got watermelonadded to mine with tajin on the rim (see pic attached). The tacos were good. I like that you can mix and match your meats onyour tacos. We got an order of 5 meat tacos, each with a different type of meat. I live in the area and will be visiting thisplace very regularly. It\'s not a super cheap place but I think it\'s worth the price. It\'s comparable to what you pay at manyrestaurants in Midtown.\n\nThis place is all outdoors. There are restrooms. There is a dog park (Bagby Park) next to thisplace.\n\nThis restaurant is also next to the giant MIDTOWN letters which are great for snapping pics in front of.\n\nTheyopened up recently and seem to still be getting the place to 100% working conditions. Was so excited to try this location as it is within walking distance. However I would not recommend.\n\nTo start off ordering... online was not working. When arriving the kiosk for ordering was not user friendly and the text receipt was not working. It tooka longer time to get the food and drinks (more than a typical taco spot). The bar area was clean but the back part smells as itis near garbage cans. The decorations and idea of the design is very nice.\n\nAs the menue was in Spanish I expected top tierflavor. The corn tortillas broke as soon as they were touched. The sauces on the side were mild at best; not packing flavor orspice. The drink was terrible, I thought it came dressed but found all the tajin was at the bottom. (I’d like to note thatothers seemed to enjoy their alcoholic beverages).\n\nI read another review saying that they were still working out some kinks.Hopefully I can try again in the future and give an updated review— I know this place has huge potential. Until then Irecommend visiting the other location. Read more
