My Wife and I are sushi connoisseur’s and have tried many sushi restaurants around houston. This is as probably our favorite... spot to go and is way better than the higher priced sushi at RA. The sushi was so fresh and delicious. The chicken/beef teriyakiwas a 10/10 & ramen is also delicious. I would highly recommend coming here for some fresh sushi rolls and sashimi. Theresturant was very clean, waiters were friendly and food comes out very quickly! Read more

Good food with great service and good pricing. Lots of options to choose from, from sushi to katsu curry.

Koto is a lovely and affordable Japanese experience. Reliably fresh and yummy sushi! Our waitress Apple takes very good care of... us each time we visit. An interesting item I enjoy when I'm craving soup is their Miso soup with dumplings. Spicy salmon, yellow tail sashimi, unagi sushi and tamago sushi are my go-to's here. Enjoy! Read more

The ultimate sushi experience. I’ve been going to this place for almost 20 years and the staff has been there just as long.... Which says a lot! I probably couldn’t say that about another business. I love this place, and patronize when ever possible.Big flavorful pieces every visit. Read more

I was looking for Genji on Westheimer and was taken to the wrong address by the GPS. I made a turn into a parking lot and saw... this little Japanese Gem. I was greeted by Apple who is very nice and friendly. The atmosphere is great and the staff is great.Denny, the sushi chef was extremely nice and we conversated a bit. Since Covid, I really hadn’t stopped to talk long enough toother people. I enjoyed my time here and will return. I can’t believe I never heard or saw this place before for sushi. Asidefrom the friendly staff, the food is good. Read more

I visited this place on a Saturday night. It was not busy at all, we were seated very quickly. Ambiance was very laid back and... chill. Service was friendly and fast. The salmon sashimi was very fresh and the portion size was much bigger than most places. The chopped scallop was also very well served but I was not impressed with the taste, it was a little plain. The Salmon Teriyakiwas delicious and a very good portion size for one person. They do not offer happy hour at any time or day but their prices arevery reasonable to where you almost don't even mind not having happy hour specials. It's a good place to try if you wantsomething close by not crowded and at a reasonable price at any time of the day. Read more

Far from impressed. Despite having a sensible array of options on the lunch menu, making the slight modification will cost you... (boxes come with California roles, however asking for alternate sushi was chargeable). Food quality was less than good, on thisthe first and last occasion of visiting, the salmon was rubbery and overcooked and the other elements in the box were just plan(and oranges with a box? Interesting way of filling the dish). The katsu chicken curry was just the same, utterly tastelesswith no spice, no salt and no apparent taste. My offering had more carrots than chicken. The bathrooms appeared dirty. Reallynot worth your time, we certainly regret the visit. Read more

Driving near Westheimer and the Beltway looking for some Japanese food and stumbled on this gem of a restaurant. From the hot... tea and miso soup to a wide variety of sushi rolls, everything we had was great. Seemed like a local spot where the staffrecognized several of the guests. Prices were very reasonable. Six piece Tuna or Salmon rolls ( as seen in the photo ) were$2.50 each. The whole platter in the photo was $11.50. Bowl of miso soup was $1.50. Read more
