This space is gorgeous! From the decor to the place settings, everything has been well thought out and planned. They have a... simple menu that covers all the Thai bases. Their cocktails looked really fun, but I was there for a quick lunch. The managersaid they have live music on the weekends, so that could be a really fun spot for happy hour. We shared the drunken noodle andsouthern curry. Both were very tasty, but I almost wanted more flavor. That could have been because we ordered medium, not a tonof spice. Definitely will be going back to try more. The staff was very attentive and helpful. Edit: came back for brunch, wegot the Roti Guang Gai, off that menu and off the regular menu we tried the money bags and Thai flower dumplings - both wereexcellent! We also tried the Thai basil chicken, very flavorful, the pad Thai that comes in an omelette, super delicious, andthe duck ramen, the meat was very tender but could have had more flavor. For drinks we tried the Tom Yum, Phuket, Boat Ride, andMango Sticky Rice cocktail. All were very good. For desert, we had the coconut ice cream with sticky rice, and Mango. Everythingwas excellent but this is a higher price point than your standard Thai restaurant. Highly recommend! Read more
Beautiful and trendy new spot. This was such a great choice for our girls night. Drinks were all so beautiful and delicious.... Appetizers were great and the service was so friendly. The live music was a unique touch to the experience. Will definitely bereturning. Read more
OMG kin Dee over delivers when it comes to their food and what you pay for. The food is simply, Fresh Delicious and to the... point. The only thing I did not like was their dumplings because it had peanuts in it yet everything else been to the point.Their fried rice by far have been the cleanest and simply delicious fried rice I’ve had here in Houston so far. I would highlyrecommend it and it’s definitely a local favorites to cross off your list. Read more
The atmosphere : plenty of outside seating. Great vibes. Even the plates, silverware, glassware were beautiful. The service:... super friendly and attentive. We wanted to move from the outside seating by the street to the outside seating by the parking lotand as annoying as that was the servers never made me felt uncomfortable. The food: holy cow was it delicious. Presentedbeautifully. Tasted amazing! Even though we thought the dishes would be your standard fair everything was next level. Don’tskip the chili oil! We had a great experience selecting from a diverse menu of northern and southern Thai dishes. Especially enjoyed an excellent... Khao Soi and crispy shrimp special. Topped it off with a delicious and beautifully presented mango sticky rice with coconut icecream. Daniel was a delightful and attentive server. Will plan to return! Read more
Kin Dee delivered a fantastic experience. I came with 3 other guests, two of which do not like Thai food. Everyone loved their... dishes. I ordered the Northern Thai curry for my main dish which was fantastic. The vegan flower dumplings were very unique andthe chicken satay was very tender and flavorful. The drinks were also nicely presented. The decor is modern and classy and thelive music was a nice surprise. I love that this is a female run establishment. Recently opened, Modern, Trendy Thai restaurant in the heart of the heights in Houston, off Shepherd drive. Service was warm and... welcoming. The drink options all looked amazing, I was definitely impressed by the selection. We ordered a mango sticky ricecocktail and it was creamy and sweet with just the right balance of flavors. I am going to rave about this place to everyone I know! I came here Saturday with a big group of friends, about 15 or so of us... to celebrate my birthday and we were accommodate espectacularly. We were sat outside in the covered patio and the weather wasperfect. My server who I cannot believe I forgot her name, was AMAZING, so sweet and so attentive to me, made me feel awesome!The service in getting out food and drinks was a bit slow but some came fast, some came slower but it was not such a big deal aswe were all talking it up with everyone. The drinks were delicious, so many to choose from and then the food came and goodnessit was delicious, so many flavors and freshness, I was stuffed. The place is not super big but it had plenty of seating andthere was also a DJ inside which made the vibe fun. ONLY downside is that there was one restroom for the whole restaurant, theother was out of order and even then two restrooms is not enough.
