I wanted to experience Nepali cuisine and chose Kathmandu. Upon entering, I was impressed by the decor and cleanliness of the... restaurant. My waitress smiled and welcomed us like family. She was so kind and answered any question I asked. The food isperhaps a cousin to Indian but very different. The beaten rice was so different than anything I have eaten. The food is lesssaucy and the spices fiery to mild depending on what one eats. On my plate many dishes were cold and my waitress let me knowahead that I was eating cold dishes. I loved ???? my experience and dinner. I am looking forward to the day I eat there again. Read more

I?d give the chili chicken momos 5 stars in taste despite being a bit pricey. I?d give the Kathmandu chicken curry 3 stars as... was very bland. Naan and rice both quite good. But service 1 star as difficult to get any attention despite being only one inrestaurant at the time. I had to get my own menu after waiting a while. Had to flag server down to place my order. Had to get myown place setting after food delivered without placemat nor silverware. Had to flag her down again after going a fair bit oftime with empty water cup. Both she and the other girl were most interested in their phones during my visit as you can see oneexample in photo. I won?t go back, there are plenty of much better choices in Houston with better food, better service andpriced well below the $40+ I spent on appetizer, entree and cup of tap water. Read more

We tried this place for the first time and was very pleased. Delicious momo?s, we had the veg chilli momos, the pani puri was... refreshing and with a hint of spice. The Kathmandu goat curry with rice was delicious, not spicy and the goat was very tenderand perfectly cooked! Highly recommend!! Read more

My fiancee and I went here to try Nepalese food for the first time. The waiter was kind to recommend a few things. We had the... Thali plate with chicken, goat curry, and the chicken chili momos (not pictured bc I ate so quick). You MUST get the chickenchili momos! I love the spicy dipping sauce. All dishes were flavorful and enjoyable. Service was friendly, efficient, andattentive. Plenty of TVs and bar space. Decor was informative on Nepal culture. Love it and will be returning soon. Thank you! Read more

One of the best homemade food offer restaurants I ever visit. The food was super delicious. I ordered the thali and that came... with rice, saag, chicken and many more things. The chicken curry was so delicious not much rich in spice and oil but it canremind you of your home-style cooking. Staff behavior was so friendly. The price was so good not much expensive. The food wasfresh and delicious. Highly recommended. Read more

Had an absolutely AMAZING meal! The flavors were bold and delicious, the service was phenomenal, the price was affordable, and... the portions were perfect. This cuisine was like a blend of Indian and Chinese, but with a unique taste all it's own. I willdefinitely be back! Make sure to try some Momos!!! Read more
