Great space and I love the camp theme. The security team, and bar staff was extremely friendly and quick. This place has... everything to be a lit spot, but, the crowd on a Sunday afternoon - which I’ve heard is the best day to party in Houston, wasjust not it. There was no intermingling, folks don’t dance and overall bland. Kamp did also charge $6 for a bottle of waterwhich is psychotic. Read more

We dined at Kamp on Monday for their special....2 snow Crabs and a 1lb of shrimp for $14.99. This is actually a pretty good... deal. I prefer the Boiled over fried although it took 15-20min later for the Boiled to come out. It wasn't busy at all at thetime we went around 1:30pm so I'm not sure why it took so long. The chicken salad was drenched in dressing which made it alittle soggy. Overall the customer service is great! The managers are very helpful. I would say give em a shot. Read more

I had always driven by this place and never went in. I finally went for my birthday brunch and it was LIT! The DJ kept it live,... and the food is amazing. Parking is a little pricey, but I didn't mind since we were splitting it. I would recommend Kamp toanyone looking for day time fun and good hookah. Read more

KAMP was a nice vibe! We had a reservation for 11AM. You have to wait in the regular line, but seating didn’t take long. We... were sat in hot sun, and was so hot our phones wouldn’t work due to them being overheated. We to move to covered patio areawhich was an easy process. I initially ordered the sausage & gravy w/potatoes which I found out they were out of once theybrought me a plate w/fries as a substitute. I decided to just try the biscuit & gravy which were cold and only had a few piecesof sausage sprinkled in it. Biscuits could be better also. I decided to ordered the oxtails & grits as well and baby this madeup for the biscuits. I’ve had oxtails 3 times and there’s were clean the bone good. We tried a variety of drinks and I wouldsay “The Slab” will have you laying on the slab. Great DJs , love the Frats & Sororities scrolling, and everything that justmade it a great time. I would recommend putting some umbrellas up to block sun in the open patio area. Read more

My friends and I went on Saturday afternoon. We sat in the patio area that was covered. The line was long but went fairly fast.... You can do self parking or valet. Valet is $20 and self working is $40. If possible carpool. The earlier you arrive the betterthe seats. I'm happy we were able to get covered seating because it was scorching hot. We were in high tops. The food was goodand the drink was also nice. I had an electric travel hand fan. I suggest you being one also. They did have one large fan but itwasn't enough for the heat. Vegetarian options are very limited but pescatarian options are good. We had a party of 4 but twojoined and left in the 2-3 hrs we were there. Our bill was over $330. Considering that we only had 4 meals, one huge drink, andfour shots, that is on the higher end. However, it was a nice experience. Our waitress was very nice and attentive. The bathroomis clean and in the back of the restaurant if you need to use it. The seats are a little cramped. Read more

The food was delicious. The atmosphere was a vibe, service was a little slow but I'll chock it up to her having lots of tables,... either way it didn't negatively effect our experience. They don't have brunch on Fridays, but its not listed on their websitethat I could find. The Oxtails made up for it!! Read more

I was told this place had good food so while I was in Houston for my birthday celebration I decided to slide through. There was... a line outside and barely any parking. VIP parking for a Friday afternoon was $40, so there's that... which I paid butthankfully I arrived before the rush came in because all I seen was mostly women dressed up in tight clothes like it was aparty. I heard the music blasting from the parking lot but lo and behold it was basically an outdoor club with a DJ that wasplaying all the latest and greatest rap music. Fortunately I was able to sit inside and order up as most people wanted to gooutside. FOOD: Delicious! Had the Bayou Best oysters, Nashville hot shrimp and the oxtails and rice. Great smoked flavor on theoxtails and rice cooked firm how I like it. Definitely would go back for the shrimp and oxtails when in H-Town but my advice isif you are going for food don't go during peak hours. Read more

We went on a Monday during the brunch/ lunch hour. The parking was a bit tight in the onsite lot but it saves a walk. The wait... was about 5 mins but the hostess was really nice and friendly. Our server Ariel was great. She got our food and drinks correctand on our table very timely. Was very knowledgeable of the menu items and kept a smile and positive vibe as undecided as wewere. The food was really good and prices weren't bad. Didn't like the fact gratuity is automatically added in the bill but ourserver was great so we didn't detest. We'll definitely be returning. Read more
