First time at Ka and it was excellent. The service and food were great. Was able to catch the happy hour and it had some great... deals on drinks, apps and Sushi. Food: Excellent. Nothing has been disappointing at this place. And the happy hour menu is generous. Service: A+ I think... everyone except for the hostesses understand how to acknowledge and keep the customer happy. Very friendly andattentive. Ambiance: A Small and not trying to be too flashy. Cleanliness: A+ I almost got offended at how quickly the staffcleaned my area after I got up. Like, let me leave before you tell me how many cooties I have. Parking: Easy and free. Toilets:Clean and I've never had to wait too long to use one. They are unisex for those that might have a problem with that. Very very disappointed experience. Engawa Nigiri was a joke . So small portion . Quality of food is not as I was expecting.... It’s Ok for someone who don’t have experience about quality Sushi. Octopus was out. Front desk was so confused that they askme to wait for the booth and after 20 minutes later said they were sorry there was booking on that booth . Complete Joke. Mytrust for a Japanese restaurant is when they run by Japanese family or Japanese entity. I don’t like fusion Japaneserestaurants with Chinese or Vietnamese influences. Read more
I’m pretty disappointed with the quality of food. I paid $160 for two people. But this is definitely not worth it. The raw... fish is not freshly cut. I ordered a lot of nigiri and sashimi, all of them were not freshly cut after I order. I think theyhave a chef who slices the fish in bulk, and assemble when someone orders them. The fishes are dry, not terribly dry, but youknow they didn’t cut it 5 minutes ago before it got to your table. The scallops, shrimp are not sweet, for that price point,this is unacceptable quality. I think they’re better in rolls. I order two rolls with cooked meat, they were warm and soft,very delicious. Read more
The food quality, presentation and taste was great. The wagyu slim roll is a hit! They also make very nice cocktails. The... overall ambience and the customer service is perfect to have a pleasant dine-in experience. Our server knew the menu items verywell and gave us some excellent recommendations. Would definitely go back. The only thing that can improve would be havingcleaner restrooms, however, my experience may have been just a one-time anomaly and may not be an issue in next visits. Came here with the family and from start to finish the entire experience was great. We stared with the hamachi chili and it did... not disappoint! The pork belly dish was perfect.
