If you do not try this place, you are missing out big time. We ordered brisket with m&c and potato salad. Everything looked and... tasted perfect. They are very busy and run out of food early so make sure to arrive at lunch time. The seating outside isawesome. We missed the live music as the band was leaving but we'll be back to catch them next time. Very clean. The onlyfeedback is they need to pay attention to the counter and refill the utensils holders. Great atmosphere!! This is a fancy BBQ restaurant with delicious tastes! The brisket and pulled pork were AMAZING!! My only... complaint is that the Mac and cheese is SO good that I wish there was more. The sides were kinda small for paying $5 ea butliterally so tasty! I will definitely be coming back. Read more

Great place to hang with friends on the patio. The inside was as hot as outside except they have fans outside. The brisket was... good, nothing out of this world but worth recommending. My favorite were the bacon green beans! I do want to come back to trytheir steaks. Great drinks! Service was great, i just wished they clean the tables quicker. The table next to ours was dirty fora while and we had to deal with the flies (this was inside). The silverware is laid out on the table so we had to ask for cleanones since the flies were landing on them. Call to ask for their hours, last we checked google did not have up to date info. Went to this place for the first time for lunch today and it was better than expected. During lunch they provide more of a... “self service” in which you order from the counter and serve yourself drinks and get your own condiments. I was told atdinner there is full service. I ordered the brisket plate with beans, Mac n cheese, cauliflower Au gratin, and a taste of thecorn. I wish I ordered more corn because it was fantastic! I wasn’t a huge fan of the Mac and cheese but everything else wasAMAZING! My partner ordered the smoked burger and let me have a bite….one of the best burgers I’ve had in a LONG time. Thiswill for sure be added to my list of BBQ spots! I can’t wait to go back to try their prime rib! Oh, and I can’t fail tomention the staff were very attentive and cheerful. I always appreciate great customer service with tasty food. Try it out foryourself! Read more

This place was fun. Parking was easy. They have a lot of spaces. When you walk in, stay to the left to line up for BBQ. They had... paper menus close to the entrance. When you get to the front, it's counter service. The staff were very friendly. First persontakes your meat order. Second person gets your sides. Third person checks you out. Non-alcoholic drinks are opposite theordering counter. Would have been better if they had left more space between the counters to allow people to move a bit morefreely. On the other side of the drink counter are your utensils, napkins, BBQ sauce, etc. There's a good sized indoor seatingspace, an indoor bar seating space, an outdoor bar space, outdoor covered patio space and outdoor open air space. Tons ofoptions for everyone. There's a stage outside and when I was there on a Sunday afternoon, they had live music. The music wascountry sounding although the content of their last song was not kid friendly. Kind of a weird musical choice. The sound levelsoutside were a bit loud, both when the band was playing and when they swapped back over to regular music. I thought the food wasgood. I had the chopped beef sandwich and shared three sides with my wife: Mac n Cheese, Potato Salad, and Cole Slaw. The mac ncheese was good, although the portion felt small. I liked the cole slaw. There was something in it that gave it a nice kick. Thepotato salad was chunky in a good way. The BBQ sauces were a must for the meat. One was a peppery honey mustard. The regular BBQsauce was also very peppery. If you like black pepper, you're probably going to enjoy this place. Read more

We heard that J-Bar-M Barbecue was highly reviewed for a number of specialties and decided to give them a visit for a... celebratory dinner. We'd heard rave reviews about the gumbo, pulled pork, and ribs. Unfortunately, we would not have theopportunity to enjoy most of that. We arrived at around 7pm on a Saturday evening. I was informed the gumbo was only offeredthrough the week, but it was of little concern given I was after barbecue. When I arrived at the counter they were out of porkribs and had one serving of brisket left. Not really a gig so much as I take that to mean that the restaurant is popular andthey ran out due to high demand; it still sucked for us though. I ordered the two meat plate with brisket and the remainingserving of pulled pork. The sides all looked fairly good, but I settled on macaroni n cheese and green beans. I chose the Mac ncheese as my top pick and went with green beans because I didn't feel like getting loaded down with some of the other options. The creamed corn and other options looked tasty, but again, whoa! Way heavy and I needed to not be in a food coma on the drivehome. It was a warm evening but we elected to eat indoors. We were in a decent sized group of eight so we opted for one of thelonger tables. The table was next to the window and it was very chilly. It almost felt like a draft from outside, but, again, itwas a warm night. We determined it must have been the air conditioning blowing cool air on us. Aside from being cold, it madeour food cold before we could enjoy it. I mean, seriously, we are talking a bite or two of the brisket and a bit of Mac n cheesebefore the pulled pork and rest of the plate chilled. My son had French fries that cooled off really quick, and I know you knowcold fries are not preferred. We didn't make a stink, but it did take away from the experience on top of the restaurant nothaving half their menu available. I would give this restaurant another shot to see about trying some of the more ac Read more

The brisket was succulent and flavorful with just the right ratio of fat. It melts in your mouth. The pork rib meat falls off... the bone. The crispy leeks on the au gratin cauliflower was a spectacular touch! Crispy and creamy heaven. The sausage casingsnaps with wash bite and was also cooked perfectly! I highly recommend this place. Finish it with a special watermelon ranchwater to wash it down. Read more

Arrived about 2:30 to a SOLD OUT sign! I went in anyway and they still had some brisket left. I got the sandwich with chopped... meat and 2 sides which are $4 each. The portion size was too small for $4 each. They were both delicious though. The brisketwas phenomenal!! The buttery bread was too. It had great smoky flavor, hardly any fat and cooked to perfection. The meat was sotender. The mustard sauce is delicious and I poured that on my sandwich. The place is huge inside and outside a bar in eacharea. There is plenty of parking too. They even had vases filled with roses throughout the restaurant and in the bathroom. Thebathroom was huge and clean with touchless cleaning stations. I recommend going EARLY and I highly recommend the brisket!! Read more
