1st off the food was EXCELLENT!! The COOK made everything EXACTLY how we ordered it! Over the top! WHAT I DIDN'T LIKE was the... Hispanic MALE MANAGER buying STOLEN LAUNDRY DETERGENT with his own personal $ in the front entrance of the restaurant!!!!!!Yes!!!!! At 10:08 AM 7/24/2022 The Male Hispanic Manager purchased $80 worth of BIG PLASTIC LAUNDRY DETERGENT CONTAINERS from 2Thugs that were STOLEN and selling them for 1/2 Price!!! They didn't eat or pick up food!!! I couldn't believe it!!!!!! TheManager stopped assisting customers immediately when he saw them walk in with 8 HUGE JUGS OF LAUNDRY DETERGENT!!!Obviously theMANAGER has done this before because on the way out the guy says "Just Let Me Know What Else You Need And We Got You"!!!!! SoCORPORATE.....you may want to take a look at your choice for "Manager" @ your 2904 Sam Houston Parkway South location!!!!! Worst food and high prices. Portion were minimal. Tasteless and luke warm Waitress was great. Rest of staff was worthless.... Place is dirty. Staff sitting around doing nothing. Manager doing dumb dance in the back. Tables were dirty. Sticky and wipeddown with dirty towels based on the marks District manager and city inspector need to close this down This is the absoluteworst experience in a long time. Not worth it. In the year 2022 they still don?t like to serve large black families. We were quiet and calm. Watched servers (who make money... from tips) all refuse to even bring us drinks. We witnessed the entire crew on their phones. And when we quietly tried to leavea young lady asked us why we were leaving? We replied no one ever came to us to take our order or acknowledge us. Fantastic Service by Homero. Came here for a quick Memorial Day breakfast, place looked busy but got sat right away by the... hostess, our server Homero was friendly and quick, delivered everything we asked for in time and kept checking on us. Food wasfresh and tasteful. Service made the difference and makes me want to come back. Cheers! Read more
Great food, excellent service. My server Homero A. was spectacular. He moved like a super hero throughout the restaurant, taking... multiple orders, checking on all his tables including mine while making it look like a walk in the park. Came to ihop for it's ihoppy hour. The things on the ihoppy hour menu is $5. I think it's really worth it to get pancakes with... cheese and ham omelette, chicken fingers with pancakes, breakfast bowl, and I got a burger just because I wanted some fries. Theservice is good the only thing to complain is that I waited a bit until I receive my meal. Read more
