A couple of mornings ago, a relative and I decided to dine in and have breakfast at the 13335 FM 1960, Houston Tx IHOP location.... We were seated and our server came to the table to greet us. Of course he took our drink and food orders. But, what stood outto me the absolute most was how excited, friendly and professional he was about performing his job duties. The server's namewas Ulises. As we dined, I could also hear him interacting with the other customers as they came and went. I'm certain that Ican speak for us all when I say, we were blessed to have been seated in his section. Daisy was amazing!!!????. We talked about up-selling at 12:00am. She listens so well she sold me a mozzarella cheese stick app..... ???????? it's amazing to see good people at this time of night!!! It reminds me of my crazy nights when I was free and younger.. she was great and took it week when I put her on the spot with up-selling... ???????? Although IHop does get crowded for weekend breakfast crowd, the service is above average & the wait for your order is... acceptable. They have a 55 plus menu that saved you money from regular menu items. I order the breakfast sampler which camewith 1 egg, 1 slice of bacon, 1 sausage link, 1 small piece of ham, hash brown potatoes, and 1 pancake. My wife ordered the2x2x2 which is 2 eggs, 2 meats of your choice, and 2 pancakes. Short order cooks there do an excellent job. Read more
Great food. Not to busy. Waitress Grace was the best. She never let our drinks get half empty and checked in just enough times... to make sure we had everything we needed. She was very friendly. Not bad but stick to what they do best. However, I was pleased they had eggs options such as cage free option. The chicken... fajita omelette was not seasoned enough and dry. Yet the pancakes were spectacular! Read more
Waitress was very attentive nice and professional. The food on the other hand was flavorless, plain and way to simple. The... pancakes seem to be water based and in all honesty flavorless. First off let me say my server was amazing. Packed house and she was running more that 6 tables but she still took perfect... care of me. That is the only thing that was right. The coffee was burnt, the cup was chipped, the plate with the creamer hadcrumbs all in it, and the syrup was watered down thin. The new French toast is not nearly as good as the old. Bacon was alittle different, can't put my finger on what was off, but if I get food poisoning we will know. I used to love this place, but I will never be returning. Pinching pennies by adding water to the syrup and not using the advertised coffee (or letting itburn and brewing on topof the sludge) is not okay. My favorite was the French toast, and now it is gone. So no good reason toreturn. Read more
