Ordered take-out online - notified by text when the food was ready, which was faster than expected. The drive-thru pick up set... up is super convenient and the staff who brought out the food were helpful and friendly. Portion size was actually bigger than Iwas expecting, and everything was fresh, hot, and delicious. Not sure why I waited so long to try Hughie's, but I'll definitelyorder take out from them again! My first time here. Decided to start simple. I ordered spring rolls, bbq wings and an iced tea. They were busy but service was... quick and friendly. I sat at the bar and was shortly after waited on. The waitress was friendly and even though I had a hardtime understanding her through her mask, we got through it. The spring rolls were fresh and wings were very fresh and crispy(not greasy). They had very good sauce and well seasoned. The iced tea was fresh and cold. Overall very good. I will be back. Read more
Yum! Hughies should definitely be on your list of places to visit. The craft beer menu is amazing and long with a ton of... options. The food was tasty and fresh. I ordered the grilled shrimp plate with a side of the lime pepper sauce (get this saucenext time you come in!) and we also ordered the steamed dumplings and a pork banh mi with a fried egg. The service was great! I came in for dinner and we were seated (2 people) right away. Our waitress was super lively and... attentive. We ordered spring rolls, shaking beef with fried rice (highly recommend), and grilled chicken rice platter. Thespring rolls were okay in flavor but very fresh, and the two entrees were really good! I personally didn't care for the friedrice by itself but when the shaking beef was eaten with a scoop of rice at the same time, it was hard to stop eating! Therestaurant atmosphere was really interesting and lively, kind of like a sports bar and less like a traditional Vietnameserestaurant. Goes along with the fact this restaurant also serves things like burgers on the menu but pho only some Saturdaymornings (slightly sad about that but it was okay). Overall, I'd go back! Read more
