This resort is one of my favorites in the area. I've been stayinghere for a very long time. If you choose this place you won't regret it. I had a great stay, the staff was incredibly politeand helpful! Valet staff was AMAZING! Super friendly, super quick to retrieve my car. The room I stayed in was spacious and theshower was huge! I loved the details like the nook in the room with the well stocked coffee and tea station and the mini fridgewas useful. Amenities were great. Loved staying here. The rooms are spacious, the breakfast buffet is perfect, and the staff are wonderful and accommodating. It... is close to the Theater District, and it is within walking distance of many really good restaurants. I felt safe walking aroundthe area both day and night. We will definitely return to the Hotel Icon on future visits. You won?t be disappointed if youchose to stay here. Read more

I would have enjoyed it more if prices of things like breakfast were clearer. We felt a little bamboozled. But the staff are all... great at their jobs and the hotel itself is classy and fun. I 100% understand why this was picked for us all to stay at for awedding. Great choice! Read more
The place is beautiful. The bartenders were great! They were the highlight of our stay! The bed was comfy and the whirlpool tub... and shower were phenomenal! My only complaint is the place was SO hot! Our A/C didn't work in our room and the hotel wascompletely booked so we couldn't change rooms. We thought about changing hotels but decided to suffer through because thelocation was perfect. Everything that we had planned for the weekend was within a block of the hotel. We had an excellent time! Spontaneous decision to have a nice night out and place to stay and the Icon exceeded our... expectations. The hotel bar?s bartenders, Germesia and Jennifer were wonderful and crafted lovely cocktails, try their Sidecar,as well as provided excellent conversation and recommendations. The breakfast buffet; whirlpool tub in the bathroom; and valetservice were also wonderful high points. The view of the city in the morning was splendid, and I was sorely tempted to extendour stay. Will absolutely be referring my peers to this hotel and planning my own next stay soon. Read more
This is a beautiful hotel! Friendly staff and good service. Our room was comfortable with a spacious entrance and bathroom. It... was quite and we did not hear anyone around us during our stay. The only thing I will say is the bed was too soft for me. Moresoft than most hotel beds, I like my bed on the firm side. If you like character hotels this is a must stay! Read more
Excellent place to stay for a romantic night! The service is exceptional and it was in an optimal location- downtown Houston... where you can enjoy clubs, bars and restaurants! Really enjoyed the stay. Breakfast buffet was delicious! Fresh! Eggs, bacon,sausage, oatmeal parfaits, cereal, fresh fruit, coffee, orange juice! The noise level from outside on the street at night waspretty loud in the bathroom. It was hard to relax while soaking in the tub.The bedroom seemed more sound proof. Read more
