I always enjoy the meals I have at HopDoddy from the Parmesan truffle fries to the burgers to the salads and shakes. They always... fun and interesting seasonal or limited time variations. Right now it?s hot honey sage sweet potato fries and a thanksgivingTurkey burger. I love that it allows me to try something truly different and inventive. I wish there was more room forsubstitution and I?d the service after ordering was as efficient and kind as the service you get when ordering. Overall though,I will keep coming back to treat myself to something outside of my norm. It?s also super convenient for me in town and theparking garage is free for 2 hours so you can grab a bit e and still have time to shop/ walk off all the delicious food you justate. Read more
It was a good but nothing I would crave and have to come back for in the future. $15 for a burger and $8 for fries is a little... steep for what we received. I asked for my prime burger to be cooked medium. It had the slightest amount of pink in the middle.The fries are nothing fancy. Frozen Processed Shoestring with Parmesan Sprinkled on top served with a truffle sauce that wasoverwhelming. The one thing I did enjoy was the $5 big glass Paloma on special for happy hour. Good place, portion sizes are plenty and lots of burger varieties to choose from. There are some vegan options as well. The... ambience is apt for a social gathering. Once, we had ordered a takeout and the veggie burger was pretty salty. It felt like thesalt in the burger was not balanced well, some bites were so salty and some did not have salt at all. My margarita on the rocks was very very good I only needed half of one. The veggie burger is very good I had mine with their... grilled onions and their caffeinated barbecue sauce it was so delicious. The buffalo wing french fries were so tasty but theydid not cook them crispy enough before putting barbecue sauce on them so they were quite soggy. The Lonestar beer came in a hugeglass it was there a lager my husband had it. He really liked their classic burger and the homemade buns were amazing. Greatwaiter was very helpful for our first time they?re getting us through the process. There was at one point in time a love triangle existing between the girlfriend and me. The third person in our love triangle was... Hopdoddy's happy hour (HdHH). Every weekday from around 3-6pm, they offered $5 specialty burgers and $5 cocktails. For oneAlexander Hamilton (plus tax), I would enjoy a decadent rendering of Hopdoddy's burger of the month plus my favorite cocktail,the Skinny Dip (an adorable little Coronita longneck turned over into a frosty goblet of frozen margarita). The burger wasdifferent each time, keeping things exciting. The Skinny Dip was steady and reliable, the perfect combination of cold,refreshing, bubbly, and sweet all wrapped up in one. This food and drink pairing was so perfect it had me calling therestaurant HopDADDY by the end of the meal. I haven't been back in a while since our lover HdHH broke our hearts and left uswithout even a phone call. From their website it looks like they've brought back a younger, less attractive version ofHdHH. Five-dollar "schooners" and "HH bites" -- essentially beers/cocktails and fries/pretzel+cheese.
