Reviews for Hidden Omakase in Houston, TX
My husband and I came here for our 9 year anniversary and was really looking forward to having a mouth pleasing adventure. The... ambiance and attentiveness of the wait staff was superb. They were personable, helpful and friendly. The food, on the otherhand, was extremely disappointing. At one point, the sushi chef shared he didn?t really like sushi. My husband and I both lookedat each other and was speechless. How can one not have a passion for sushi yet become one? His lack of knowledge and dedicationto the craft was apparent in the food. We would not recommend nor dine here again. Read more

Loved HO as always. Incredible food and experience. Only wish is that I would prefer the showmanship/announcement of plates came... back. It delivers a unique interaction for what you?re getting to eat and brings the entire energy of the space together asone. An entirely unique experience for a high end restaurant and undeniable uniqueness I miss from my previous visits. Read more
Stretching the limits of omakase this hip and inventive restaurant is a great experience. Chef Nikki and her team make highly... inventive and well balanced bites of heaven. The setting, hip music and service allows you to come dressy or casual and bringyour own wine or sake. A big plus. All in all this dinner beat the current top sushi restaurants in houston candidly withoutbreaking a sweat. Cost for dinner is a bare minimum of $250 per person but if you add service and order a few extra bites andbring your wine it can add up to more. Read more

Such a cool spot. The staff somehow knew who I was before I got through the door. Slightly dim lighting and old school hip-hop... playing as we entered. The food is amazing. Some was even outside my normal comfort zone, but it's omakase so you just have togo for it. There was halibut, sea bass, three different cuts of yellow tail, A5 wagyu, and much more. The head chef asked usabout nearly every course after it was done, which made the experience even more intimate. BYOB, which is always nice. Therewas a loud group of ten the night we went, which was slightly annoying...but couldn't detract from the overallexperience. 10/10 food, 10/10 atmosphere, 10/10 experience Read more
This restaurant is about ambiance. A paced, curated non-traditional experience. Staff is busy. With over a dozen people you... lose some of the personal interaction and customization that comes with a traditional omakase. The wagyu portions weredelicious. In nigiri the rice does not quite receive the excellent treatment you expect from good sushi. Plating is basic butvery pretty. The creativity came though in the non-sushi dishes. The BYOB option is great. Read more
Came to this restaurant for two date nights. The atmosphere, ambiance, music, and staff were great! The chefs are passionate... about their craft and the dishes have tons of flavor. The chefs were engaged with the customers and answered any questions wehad about the food. Their Omakase menu is very stuffing and you?ll barely have any room for dessert. It is BYOB. I do suggestyou arrive on time and try not to be late for your reservation. It?s on the pricey side but definitely worth it. We?ll be backhere soon! Read more
