Have ordered delivery -ubereats from.tjis restaurant a handful of times. Finally remembered to leave a review. The sushi is... usually fresh and they have an interesting variety. There was only one out of about 4-5 times in which I wasn't very satisfied.Love that you can order an assortment and their menu is simple. Some sushi joints have confusing menus which can be intimidatingfor those who are new to sushi. I have been hesitant to order sushi for delivery in the past but I recommend at least tryingHando. I can see why this place will do well and why a lot of people like it. The menu is simple as are the hand rolls. The only... difference is instead of doing a cone Hando produces a cylinder with the filling spread out evenly across the entire length. Also they use a roasted seaweed which is stronger than what's typically used and has a strong pleasant flavor. Having said thatlet's start with the service. My wife and I went for lunch. I was looking at the fixed menu of spicy tuna, crab and salmon for$15. Then I compared the sum of each individual price which was $7+$7+$6= $20. So I asked the waiter if the fixed menu handrolls are smaller than the individual order hand rolls because it was $5 cheaper. He didn't know the answer and had to ask thesushi chef 4 times to get the answer, which was that the hand rolls are the same. So the conclusion is always order the fixedlunch menu because it's so much cheaper than the individual orders. Then order extra items that aren't on the fixed price menu. Then I proceeded to order the ocean trout from the same waiter when we were both interrupted by another waiter saying there wasno trout. Only for my waiter to check and confirm there was trout available. Get your story straight, nosy 2nd waiter! Here's mytake on the food: Toro sashimi was good and you can taste the sweetness. Squash blossoms with lamb was tasty. Hokkaido uni bitewas sweet but slightly overpowered by the seaweed. This is one instance it should be served without the seaweed. My wife didn'tlike the blue crab and thought it tasted like cat food. I thought it was okay but I can see why she thought that because of theconsistency. The salmon and blue fin tuna was mild. My favorite was the ocean trout and only because of the crispy bits inside. The beef skewers were disappointing due to lack of flavor and chewiness. I would expect a sous vide beef to be tender. Iappreciated the Japanese cheese cake and it was similar to what I had in Tokyo. Overall, at $90 price t Read more

Not your traditional sushi, only hand rolls and a very small menu, but I really enjoyed it. I didn't expect to either. Highly... recommend trying. I like their Toro, Spicy Tuna, Yellowtail and Ocean Trout the most. Their Edamame is good and their BeefSkewers as well. Read more

Came in on a Tuesday afternoon with my boyfriend. We loved the experience. Concept is great. Excellent service. Prices pretty... reasonable. Food left something to be desired. Rice was extremely bland and its texture was a little too soft. Could not detectany vinegar, salt, sugar, nada? Not what I expected from a place that serves sushi. The cocktails might be better than the food, but probably won?t come back to find out. Read more

The handrolls are so good! Just order the fried oyster handroll, is the BEST EVER!!! But in general all the rolls are great,... Salmon and Tuna, great choices too. The customer service is great. If you dont have reservation, and there is a waiting list, you can go to the Kanpai bar, which is together with the restaurant and get some cocktails and edamame to calm down your hunger. It totally worth the wait. And when you are next on the list they will come to tell you that your spot is ready. The design andlayout of the place is simple but great. At the end of your meal, they give you a courtesy desert. Affordable handrolls and super speedy service! I feel like we ordered and five seconds later received our first handroll. Toasty... fresh seaweed wrap, good fish quality, and only need 3-5 to fill up. The social hour cocktails (half off) are a fantastic dealfor what you get. Read more

Excellent little gem in the Heights. First off, customer service was excellent! The executive chef there is incredible not only... in his cooking skills but very personable. While we were sitting for lunch we struck up a conversation with him and reallyenjoyed the conversation! We had a few of the hand rolls (favorite was the Blue Crab) and the special which was an Uni dishwith eggplant and different color fish roe. Fantastic flavors! Appreciate the chefs innovation with his flavors. Willdefinitely be coming back, especially for happy hour! Thank you, Hando, for delish food and incredible service! Read more

The heights is such a unique place and this sushi restaurant is a perfect fit. Popped in for a little Monday afternoon happy... hour after work and grabbed a few hand rolls paired with some delicious handcrafted cocktails. Service, food, and drinks wereall amazing. Highly recommend Toro, Salmon, and the Soft Shell Crab hand rolls. The Wasabi Shumai appetizer was amazing. Forcocktails we tried the Audacity and Little Death. Ambiance is just right, can be a fun spot but also offers the upscale intimatevibe. Read more
