First time here on a recommendation and it did not disappoint. The food was well prepared and exceeded expectations on taste.... The portions were generous, you could split the plate into 2 meals quite frankly. We had the lamb plate and the falafel plate,the rice is the star of the show and the rest are the supporting actors with Oscar worthy nominations. We were intrigued when wesaw them prepare healthy drinks, squeezed fresh fruits and vegetables, that we did not notice on the menu, we will have to trythem next time we are there. Read more
I'd like to start by saying that the food was delicious, and I recommend trying the Chicken Gyro if it's your first time there.... Not only that, but the service was excellent, especially Leo (I hope I spelled his name correctly), who was very patient andeven recommended some food when I was unsure, so 10/10 will be coming back. Delicous!! We have always ordered from the food truck and recently tried out their brick and mortar location. The food is just... as delicious. Our favorite is lamb over rice. Great food and service! Tried this place for the first time today and it was delicious. Chicken gyro and combo fries were so... flavorful and fresh. Ordered the chapli over rice for my dad, but he wasn't used to the flavors. I called and asked if I couldexchange it for a chicken gyro to which Robert did with no problem! Really awesome guy! I love to find a great little dive. This isn?t one. The outside looks the part and the fast food seating style was comfortable... enough. My first though was ?For $15.50 (including fries and a canned cola) this better be a good gyro! The best thing I cansay for the fries is they were hot, but they tasted like ?old potatoes? not old grease, but old potatoes. I ordered the lambgyro and the meat was tender but it was so heavily dusted with black pepper that I couldn?t taste anything else. The place isclean and the staff courteous but high cost for low quality, doesn?t often get my repeat business. UPDATE: while I have not yetreturned, the owner contacted me and thanked me for my review - I honestly believe that he wants to/and will continue to makehis shop better than ever. Just sayin? Well lets just say today was my first day to try this place and omg I absolutely love gyros but this was by far the best I ever... had. Well u guys have a lifetime customer the fries ???? Well I ate them all before I thought about a picture ??????????? and Ihad a fresh beets smoothie and all I can say is that it was delicious and really made me feel refreshed. Ordered right at lunch time. Short line to order, then about a 20 minute wait for the food. It didn't have any seating left by... 12:10. The food is served in disposable plates/packaging even for dine in. Canned sodas or bottled water for drinks. No realatmosphere, it was Okay. Service was okay. I liked the food and if it close by, it is worth it. Not worth a trip across townto eat. Next time I am in the area, I will try somewhere else in search of somewhere with a little more atmosphere. They have aLamb cone but it looks like they cut the meat off and store it well before it is served. The vegetables seemed fresh, the ricewas greasy. Big bottles of sauce. Read more
