Visited for dinner on a Friday night and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves! The acoustics were a little loud inside the restaurant,... so I was happy that we were seated on their patio. Margarita was very tasty as was the pina paloma. I had the tostadas (1 beefand 1 chicken) which were very good but got soggy quickly due to the sauce on top, so I would recommend asking for this on theside. Both the chicken and beef were very well seasoned and tender. They cook everything on a mesquite wood grill which reallytransforms the flavors and is quite unique. Service was top notch, even during a busy time. Can’t wait to visit again and tryone of their other offerings! Read more

I’m so glad they opened this location! The Goode Co. Kitchen & Cantina concept is some of the top (if not the top) Tex-Mex... food in Houston and their beef fajitas are simply the best! You honestly can’t go wrong with anything…from their queso toenchiladas to churros and tres leches, you’ll be impressed! If I had any critiques (and it’s only because I’m comparingthem to the one in Spring Branch): On the night we went, the tortillas weren’t completely fresh and had some hardened parts onthem, but that’s an easy fix, although it’s a problem I’ve never had at the other location. Other than that you’llnotice their large queso isn’t served in the large molcajete like at the other location (which really kind of wows peoplepresentation wise just because it looks larger and is impressive) and the bar wasn’t able to make their specialty margaritasin a pint glass like the Spring Branch location does. Again, very minor things that can also serve to make this locationunique! I know I’ll be coming here way too often! Read more

Great transformation from what was in this building previously. While it's quite cramped and hard to maneuver around inside, it... also sort of keeps it cozy and buzzing with energy. We sat at a high bar table which has good view for both TV and peoplewatching. Barstools were backless at the tables so wouldn't want to stay for long. They were out of the Roasted PoblanoMargarita that I wanted but my second choice was still good, Watermelon, slightly sweeter than I wanted it to be but I wasprepared for that possibility. The damn goode house Marg was also good. For dinner we got the Shrimp Nachos and they were ableto make them without the bacon for me. They were individually topped giant nachos, very filling. The side setup of toppingscould have been more, mine only got me through half of my nachos. My date got the Cheese enchiladas and loved them. While he washoping they'd be his new favorite in the city, they didn't quite hit that mark, but still very good. The service wasincredible, We felt welcome and taken care of. From host staff to manager to our server, actually multiple servers that helpedus at the table. Top notch staff here. Ask for Joseph or Megan. Overall, great experience and will return when in theneighborhood. Read more

Had the pleasure of stopping here before heading home to San Antonio. The food and service were both amazing. One of the... managers, Michael came to check on our table since it was busy..more restaurants should do this. Will definitely come back onmy trips to Houston. Read more
