Delicious! I wish I took a picture but I ate it so fast! It is a nice big portion of rice, protein, plantain, and cabbage.... Surprisingly the cabbage was one of the best parts and I was underestimating it. I had the goat curry, brother in law got thecurry chicken, my husband got the jerk chicken. It was all too good! It tasted homemade and wholesome. The staff was so friendlyand helpful. She helped pick the food since this was the first time we came in. We were actually on the way to Panda when wedecided to try this local spot. We don?t regret it and totally recommend it. ???? Read more

Golden Krust has some really amazing Jamaican food! I stopped by to try the new shrimp patties and they were delicious, spicy... and had a perfect crust. The oxtails were my fave though! So tender and the perfect amount of gravy. Big portions too which Ilove. Definitely a great spot to check out! Read more

My entire family loves Golden Krust. Every single dish is delicious. The dining area is clean, the staff are polite and they... serve you with a smile. The prices are good too. We drive 45 minutes and bypass all other Caribbean restaurants because It?sjust that?s good. Brown stew chicken is my favorite. Read more

First time customer. The food was delicious! I ordered brown stew chicken, rice n peas and veggies. Also a spicy beef patty!... Everything was very good but the customer service was definitely below standard. I said hello and neither lady responded. Justasked, "what's your order?" Little eye contact... Could use a more personal, friendly touch. Poor customer service could be adetermining factor on whether a person comes back or not! BUT the food was really GOOD! Read more

The lady was very helpful at the front counter. I had the oxtail and the curry goat meal. Came with rice and peas plantains... mixed veggies and a healthy portion of oxtail and curry goat. I had a couple of Jamaican patties which were excellent. I'moriginally from South Florida. I have eaten at many Caribbean restaurants and Jamaican Patty places. They did an excellent jobrepresenting the islands. I was looking for that fresh warm coco bread ????. Next time I will ask the lady thank you for adelicious meal. Read more

I?ve been looking for a good Jamaican breakfast EVERYWHERE in Houston & it looks like I?m still on the hunt. The porridge they... sell is full of lumps which is a big no no for cornmeal porridge. Also, the callaloo is sooo oily I had to drain it on napkinsbefore eating. This major chain has lost its luster ??????????? Read more

My first experience with this type of food. I really wanted to try the "staple" beef patty. The store didn't have any. We... arrived there at 3pm. So we ordered oxtail, spinach rice, and sweet chili chicken. Our drink was sorrel ginger. The rice anddrink was very tasty. Unfortunately I cannot say the same for the entrees. The oxtail was on the salty side and I wasn'texpecting the gummy texture. The chicken had the potential of being delicious however the skin was tough, kind of like leftoverfried chicken. It was all dark meat. The meals came with plantain but I definitely don't think it was worth $45 (for 2people) ???? still hungry Read more

Highly disappointed! My husband orders jerk chicken for me, he noticed what they were serving him and he asked to make sure if... that was jerk chicken and they said yes. When he got home and showed me my food they lied and gave me curry chicken NOT jerkchicken. I even went on the website to double check what the jerk and curry chicken looked like. And now I am throwing the wholeplate away at 830pm and nothing to eat for dinner. I would appreciate if I could get a refund for my plate or at least a jerkchicken plate to make up for the wrong food being served after paying $50 worth of food. Read more
