This place is HORRIBLE!! Its so sad because I love Golden Chick. When this location first opened, it was awesome. The staff was... very friendly and courteous. Now its gone to hell in a hand basket. I ordered through the drive through today. The young ladythat took my order sounded as if she wanted to be somewhere else other than work. After repeating my order three times, shefinally got it correct. With a bad attitude I might add. I pulled forward behind the car ahead of me. The person in the carahead of me paid for her order. After almost 4 minutes waiting, the young lady finally came to the window to tell the lady topull to the side which she should have done immediately after taking the payment. Once the car pulled to the side, I just leftand went somewhere else. I knew I would have probably been waiting just like the lady ahead of me. The time before this thechicken tasted like the oil had not been changed for weeks. I will never go to this place again. This location should be closeddown! Its the worst!! Read more
I live in the area. I always go this restaurant. I like the food. But it is never ever consistent. They never can get the order... correct. As much as these food prices are. Everything needs to be correct and always the same. They have the biggest problemof giving guests condiments and napkins even. Although I visit frequently. With all the mistakes. Unfortunately this was my worst Golden Chick experience. I ordered the 6 spicy tender combo with fries and a drink. I found the... tenders to be smaller than at other locations and the "spicy" seasoning was just thrown on them without being tossed, leading toover seasoned bits on each tender. The fries were overcooked and hollow. The staff seemed more interested in joking around thancooking good food. Maybe this was just a one time occurrence, so I will return to try this location again. 1 Star for servingme the food I ordered and 1 Star for the bread roll and the fountain drinks having a good syrup/ carbonated water ratio. The food was ok. This location needs a remodel and cleaning. The staff was eating and drinking while working, should have been... cleaning. The outside area was dirty as well. They had enough staff on hand to clean up, it wasn't busy. I won't be going back. Read more
Love the place of business ! Some of the best workers I?ve ever encountered , very quick with my order and was able to keep me... engaged with a fundamental background about the franchise! I?m not sure who that manager or GM is but they need a raise for howwell they?re running the place. I thought chick fli A had the best customer service until I came to this Golden chick. My experience with the Houston area Golden Chick establishments has been unsatisfactory at best. Yesterday, I visited the... location on S.Post Oak and Trey took our order, assured us the food would be cooked fresh and even offered recommendations onother items. He was nice enough to bring us samples of sauce to try with our chicken. Excellent customer service! Our food washot and delicious. I wish they were near the Woodlands. They reminded me why I love Golden Chick. My favorites are the WickedWings, Roasted chicken, Chicken Tenders and the rolls. Great Job! Read more
Good food, but they constantly short change you on the order. Order mashed potatoes and gravy? You won't get the gravy. Order... items a la carte? They'll miss something. This has happened several times. In short, always check your order because theysure won't. Read more
