I noticed in the reviews that there is another branch in New York with outstanding standards, and I think I will definitely pay... a visit. However, I didn?t know it was nationwide. I just long for some Japanese dishes, and I saw this curry house, and wentin. The service was excellent, but no free water was provided. I was shocked at the fact that a restaurant that servesdeep-fried food curry does not offer any glass of water; you will have to purchase it. This is somehow to me tolerable, but, twotiny insects hanging over certainly ruined my dining experience. It would have been way better if this had been a takeout. Thefood is on par with most of the Japanese restaurant I have been. It did not taste bad, but serving with a plastic plate for adine-in order undermined the professionalism. The curry sauce was delicious but the fried pork, chicken, and fish were all just okay. Batter was on the thicker side with... thin cuts of meat, especially the fish. I had much better curry and katsu at sushi restaurants around town. Read more
I was craving curry food and my friend recommended this place. I ordered pork tonkatsu curry bowl which was one of the most... popular dishes here. Food came out quickly even though there was only one employee working as both cashier and cooker. Tonkatsuwas crunchy and went well with the curry. However the curry sauce was just okay. This is not Go Go Curry's typical sauce. I'm not sure if they have a shortage or what, but I know S&B curry sauce when I taste... it. It doesn't even resemble the dark rich color and flavor of Go Go's normal sauce. Additionally, this restaurant was dirty(floors, bathroom), and the music was blasting extremely loud, making it near impossible to order and have a conversationinside. came here once and loved it. very good curry on my pork katsu. and very reasonably priced for the portion size. confused at why... the slaw doesnt have any sauce but that might be personal preference or i may have missed seeing the bottle. Read more
