I have tried this place 4 times. It still has earned only 2 stars. You have to wonder why. I am glad you asked. Customer... service is first and very important. There are too many restaurants in the strip to be lacking in good old fashioned customerservice. I entered the restaurant. I went straight to the washroom to wash my hands. I was stopped mid way to the washroom with" Hey, can I help you!!" Perception in the delivery was as if wasn't welcome there. I answered with " I am here to have lunchand I am sitting over there with 3 other people". However, I wanted to wash my hands first. In turn he was speechless. Socustomer service is not this restaurants priority. My meal was $38.00. House special lo mein with wings and 2 egg rolls. Thenoodles were normal. Not very exciting. Traditional wings were tasty and served hot. The egg rolls were the weakest portion ofthe meal. Crispy on the outside yet spongy and wet inside. There were cooked really fast. Therefore, the inside was undercooked.The perfect part of lunch was the ice cold HEB bought Dr. Pepper bottle. This is a take out restaurant and hope you get theright item when you get home style. Dining in lacks the luster of " Im here to give you good service and good food". There areother restaurants in this strip that would enjoy customers that likes good food and expects great customer service. Customersdeserves both. Explore your other options first. I'm a regular here. I mainly go for 1 entree and it's this here the shrimp broccoli in white sauce. The vegetable and protein... was a good ratio. I like to go for lunch hour because I get enough. You get choice of soup and rice with cheesepuff. The staffis very nice as well. Read more
I had a phenomenal time. The patrons were generous with portion size, the food was better than expected, and it's located with... surprisingly calm scenery while being near an intersection. Compared to ordering, they filled the plates with 33% more but didnot skimp out on quality. The food was fairly priced, and the waiting times are worth it for even the plain dishes. Out of therestaurants I have been to, Ginger Wok gave me the best experience. Read more

I really wanted to like this place as it's so close to work, plus waitstaff and the young female voice on the phone were both... very polite and accommodating when I called in my order. However, the food is simply either lacking or too salty. Ordered thelunch special, beef and veggies, with fried rice and hot and sour soup. Main dish- portion was plentiful with fresh veggies,but the beef was chewy and salty. The 2 scoops of fried rice, while generous, were very dark (excess soy sauce) which madethings even more salty. Hot and sour soup was not even sour but very liquidy; it spilled on the plate below before even makingit to my table (missing tapioca starch to make it more viscous). I may give them a try again but will have to ask for customseasoning. Read more
I have visited several times and each time has been a joy. I like getting egg rolls and cheese puffs prior to our meal because... they are delicious! The drinks are refillable and very tasty. All of the plates we have tried are well prepared and theirportions are excellent. If you have some left over you can always ask for a to-go tray. The prices are fair and their servicegreat. I hate writing negative reviews, but we purchased dinner for my whole family and it was the biggest waste of money ever. The... "fried rice" was burnt and tasted like fish. The tzo's chicken also tasted burnt. I have eaten here over the years and it hasprogressively gotten worse. It's really unfortunate. I was really hopeful to try it again with the recent good reviews.
