This frenchys need a new crew!!! I sat at the drive thru window for 7 minutes before someone acknowledge me it was 3 people... there and they act as if they did not want to take my order. I asked for fresh chicken and dirty rice. Once I got home mychicken was not fresh and she gave me read beans and rice. I took it back and asked was the chicken sitting out fresh she saidno. If it?s not fresh why even have it sitting out for sell. She told me she could put it in the fryer to WARM IT UP! Food wasnasty and not fresh and they moved so slow!!!! Read more
Just a suggestion: for family sized options, have larger containers. If you're going to place a date on the desserts, do... inventory first to make sure the date is not expired. Ask customers if they want rolls or cornbread. It looks bad when you haveto put something back on display AFTER the customers return it. Read more
I have always loved Frenchy?s chicken but I have to tell you, The one on Rankin Rd, Needs to change there grease more often and... check that cook. It had a burnt taste and if you know your food you could tell the grease was burnt and needed to be changed.Frenchy?s please make your cooks stick to your recipe , and stop trying to put their own twist on it. I made a purchase (see attached receipt). Female employee took my order and payment and another female employee (whom I see... often when I visit) made & packed the order. - My change was given to me in all coin $1.56 - I was not greeted or thanked formy business although I thanked them. - Opened my chicken and had to return it. (See photos) Upon returning my chicken, I spokewith the manager on duty ?Nelson? and the 2nd female employee who packed my food. (Appears to be Hispanic or Latino female). Iasked for a full refund. The manager or the associate never even asked what was wrong, just started processing my refund. Thatcaused me to open the box and show them both the chicken and I asked the female employee the following: * Why would you thinkit?s ok to serve this to me? * Would you serve this to yourself or someone you cared about? No response verbally, blank starethen shook her head no. * So why would you serve me this? I went on to further explain, I was not going to complain but I?mtracking each time I had a problem with my order she was involved by packing my food. Even still, no apology. This location isnot that old, not sure if ownership or management changed but this location is no where near the Frenchy?s standard or close tomy original experiences. This location needs effective leadership/management. It?s evident in the way your employeestreat/service customers as well as the lack of professionalism shown on your responses to Google reviews. As a local customer Iexpect better! Your service to our community & visitors is subpar & I?m going to make sure someone in authority is madeaware. ????DON'T WASTE YOUR $MONEY????If I could give zero stars I would. I was born and raised in Houston. The Frenchy's in 3rd ward... is the original and is where you should go if you want to taste Frenchy's chicken. This location chicken taste like old burntgrease. The chicken pieces are so small they look like penguins not chicken. I ordered fries and rice for the sides. Both whereonly 3/4 full. I went back and the "kids" working filled both containers. When I told them the chicken was too small the littleboy asked do we want him to fix it. Well Duh we said yes...big mistake. We were then giving more pieces which included a friedLEG QUARTER!!! Didn't really taste like the original Frenchie's but none of them do if you don't want to be disappointed go to the original in... third Ward Houston Texas you won't be disappointed this one over here the chicken was not seasoned is well as the originalFrenchie's and it was overcooked wasn't fresh like it had been sitting there for a while.
