I ordered takeout online and utilized the scheduling feature to order it one hour in advance, instead of ASAP. When I arrived to... pickup my order one hour later the employee said "Oh, we were wondering when you were going to come. It's been out here for 40minutes." They seemed to find the situation funny, and did not take me seriously at all. I went home to reheat the food, andfound that it was actually pretty good...which is a shame because I had such a poor 1st time experience. We were served by the owner I believe, I honestly think he cooked and served us with greatness. We came at like 2pm On a... Wednesday and there was only one other couple in there. Hadn't ever been here so we gave it a try after seeing it on our way to work. Our waiter was not good at all, he disappeared... often, had to flag him down every time we needed something, like a drink, to order and to get our ticket just to give someexamples. As for the food, not worth the price, tomato caprese was not done well at all, tomatoes way to thick, mozzarellaalmost non existent. I ordered lasagna, which looked like at best two layers, thinnest lasagna I've ever seen, GF ordered herItalian usual, chicken parmesian, veggies were overcooked and used too much oil, chicken was not fresh, tasted like it camefrozen from a box. Do not order drinks, there is no bartender, so the waiters make their own drinks and have to bring ice by theglass from the back. Lastly it's time to pay, after chasing him down for our check, our change from 100.00 should have been39.41 and he only brought us the 39.00 back. My wife and I decided decided to have a late lunch at Fornos. It was a little busy due to the convention at the nearby hotel, so... it was understandably a little slow. We were still seated within 5 minutes. The food came out and it was delicious. The sauceon my chicken parmasean made the entire meal better!. My wife's manicotti was also delicious. The prices are fair for a nicesit-down experience. I highly recommend this establishment. Read more
