Wow. This place earned it's name. You'll definitely flip out when you taste the food! Their meat patties are delicious. They... even have non meat options, like a stuffed mushroom "burger" which is just as delicious. It's a must try place if you're lookingfor causal indoor eating in the area. Read more

Fantastic restaurant! My friends and I tried to find the restaurant the first day we were in Houston for a conference, only we... found it a challenge to discover because it is actually in the tunnel system below downtown! You can't really use GPS directionswhen you have to navigate the tunnels! That being said, 2 days later we made a more expertly planned attempt to find therestaurant, and it was everything we had hoped for! The restaurant is Filipino inspired foods, with a lot of American flavorsmelded with the Asian traditional inspirations! The burgers were juicy with buns that were crisp and even had mustard placed onthem in the shape of the word love and a heart! My own meal was a more traditional Filipino dinner, called lechon kawali, whichis a fried pork belly meal with garlic seasoned rice, lettuce, and chives! To top it off, two of us ordered something called aHalo Halo, which is an ice cream and fresh fruit combination, along with coconut shavings and crushed ice! The flavors wereexquisite and unique in a way that can't be compared to a chain ice cream store! The chef and waitstaff were happy to obligeour touristy goofiness, and even got in on the fun of pictures that we took while we were there! If you're able to find it, goto Flip N Patties! Really enjoyed our first trip to this restaurant. We tried the flip-n-patty burger, Amboy, a simple build your own burger for... the kids, and a flip-n-fries. All the food was excellent including the bread, the meat, and the sauces. The fries in particularwere exceptional. They were large natural cut fries which were fried to a perfect crispness. They included shredded meat and aspicy sauce on top that was really delicious. Everyone enjoyed their food and the service was great and friendly. Definitelywill be back when I?m in the area.
