Food was good, I feel like I was at a Filipino party and I came at round noon and all the food was out. And I came back at 10:30... and only some food is out. So I asked the lady where the other food its not ready po?, and she said with rrogance(aka pilosopo)," manghuhula ka pala alam mo na Wala pa" ( it means you are a fortune teller for knowing it's not there) but I don't talk backrude to her but if she thinks that is good customer service then it's not. And also the toilet seat is not properly installedso if you don't mind squatting or sitting on the toilet without a plastic seat and which is a cold one, that's what they have. Read more

You only need to go to the Filipiniana Buffet Restaurant at 9671 Bissonnet if you are truly craving Filipino food. It was... absolutely ideal for me to get there yesterday at roughly 11:30 AM. The cuisine was delicious and authentic, and the selectionwas excellent (from the appetizers to the desserts). I can name all of the foods I like to eat for you, but I won't. It'sdelicious and filling, and I'm full! This is where you should eat lunch if you are extremely hungry! Highly recommended - Linawill truly look after you, so look after her as well! Check out every image from yesterday. Read more

Filipiniana is as traditional Filipino food as you can get. Majority of the restaurant’s patrons are through their catering... service. They do have an option for dine in for their daily buffet. The restaurant itself is not a place you will bring a dateto, probably not even your wife or parents, unless you were born in the Philippines and, know and accept that Filipino boomersonly care how your food taste. And that’s Filipiniana’s greatest strength….the food! Once you start seeing and smellingthe food, it will bring you back to your childhood or your grandmother’s house. Majority of the traditional dishes areavailable everyday and are also available to take out. Chicken and pork adobo are a must. Pork sisig shld be on the list to try.Menudo and caldereta are also available. White rice and garlic rice (!) as well as pancit bihon are always part of the layout.Diniguan, the infamous pork blood stew is a favorite amongst the Filipinos. If you want to try a variety of traditional Filipinodishes, Filipiniana shld be on your list. Read more

Had been craving Filipino cooking lately. Specifically my dad's cooking, but sadly, he is no longer with us. Whenever we were... out though, and he wanted a quick lunch of our native foods, he would choose Filipiniana restaurant. The buffet is brimming offreshly made and hot variety of Filipino dishes like pancit palabok, chicken and pork adobo, kare-kare and lechon kawali just toname a few. My mom, husband and I went there during covid time and they had plastic gloves, hand sanitizer and disposableplates and plastic ware as precaution to the virus spreading. The buffet wasn't at its normal filled food capacity but thedishes they had out was still plentiful and delicious. I would say, I was alarmed that they did not have any of the sweetsthat's usually on the other side of the hot foods, but when I mentioned it to one of the friendly attendants, she happilyoffered up that they had a few kinds in the back and promptly brought out some sapin-sapin and bibingka. Craving was satisfied. The restaurant is clean and welcoming even though the location could be better. I would recommend this place for people whowant to try Filipino cooking and also to kababayan coming from out of town. Read more

The BBQ Chicken is beyond belief! All dishes were very good. The restaurant has a nice feel to it. All of the dishes were kept... replenished so nothing ever ran out. The website said buffet was $7.99 on Tuesday but owner Minda said $9.99. She made good onthe $7.99 price but it took a bit of work. Read more
