Pork chops where very tough mac and cheese was off tasting and i didn't receive the cornbread
I was baffled by the meal(s) I received. The rice comes saturated in some kind of sauce. Why? It wasn?t described as saucy rice.... The meat is cooked separately, then covered by the same generic gravy, whether it?s jerk oxtails or smoked turkey. I know thisbecause I actually CAN cook. The meals went directly in the trash. I purchased the oxtails from here and they are to die for. They were delicious and tender. The portion sizes was larger than... expected. The mac n cheese was the best I've ever had from a soul food restaurant and not to mention the collard greens. Theywere not overcooked and I could tell they were freshly made. Via Grubhub. The food was disappointing. The fish was ok. Macaroni was too sticky dry. Sweet potatoes weren't done enough. Not... soft. Hard cubes. And I'm not sure what they're using to flavor the greens. Not for me. Read more
