I want to start off by saying I have eaten at this restaurant many times. The food is really good. It is right next to the... hair salon we go to and my kids look forward to the food at this restaurant. I have three kids. Currently 8, 5, and 11months. The last time we were at this restaurant (about 4-5 weeks ago) the baby was 9 almost 10 months old. We ordered ourfood and all enjoyed. I will say that we know that babies can be messy and we leave very good tips because we feel bad he canmake a mess. The baby had the fried rice and the chicken dumplings. Today I went into Dumpling Haus with my 8 year old and the11 month old. I started to order and the girl at the counter said she would only allow me to order the rice to go because theBABY made a mess last time. Yes there was rice on the floor and on the table, but that is what babies do. The rice on thefloor was just around the high chair and some on the high chair. It was not thrown across the restaurant and it was not thrownacross the tables or onto the bench where the other children were sitting. The last time we were there the other two childrenwere very well behaved, did not make a mess, and kept quiet. The restaurant does have high chairs available. Today I cancelledour order and left. I have never been so embarrassed and so upset at the same time. We always try to support small,family/woman owned, minority owned businesses. But they have lost our business. Edited to add It was the owner I wasinteracting with Read more

I?ve been coming to Dumpling Haus for years and I must say, their dumplings are the best I?ve tried thus far. Their brick and... mortar location is spacious as it is located in Sawyer Yards in the Heights. They have inside seating & parking is not an issue.Their menu offers vegan & gluten free friendly options without compromising any flavor. My favorite menu items are the StirFried Market Vegetables paired with Vegan Dumplings. I upgrade from the white rice to the glass noodles which are a gluten-freeoption. It would be nice if they would change their vegetables occasionally. The dumplings are phenomenal, I?ve tried variousdumplings and these are the best with their flavor profile. We have also tried their Vegan Fried Rice, Vegan Wonton Soup, andDumpling Noodle Soup which were delightful. I would definitely suggest for anyone to come and try their food, especially theirdumplings as they offer them by the dozen to take home and cook on your own time! If I could recommend an item from their menuit would have to be their beloved dumplings with Hot Sauce, you will be left satisfied. Read more

Ordered fried vegan/veg dumplings, mapo-tofu and a chili garlic noodle bowl. Fried dumplings are great, the cili garlic sauce... also tastes great and spicy. The mapo-tofu was Ok, coz it felt lacking something when just having the bowl as is. Onerecommendation though is to add more toppings or get dumplings with these rice/noodle bowl. Its just that the dish alone didn?thave enough ingredients/ felt a bit lacking tastes good though but yeah. Also i had takeout, and noticed noodle in bowl lookedas what you get in a microwaveable noodles, like a hard noodle cake that takes shape of container. Read more

The best thing about this place is the dumplings; they are really good! However, they're a little overpriced in my opinion. My... other complaint is that they don't give out water for free. You have to buy a bottle for $1. Lame. Read more

Came here multiple times and I would put their noodles entrees at the top. I'm not a fan of soup myself so cannot say much, but... wife likes the wontons soup on a cold day. Dumplings are small, but rich in flavor. Their vegan alternative is actually prettygood pan fried, highly recommend to try. Still my usual go to is the spicy szechuan noodles, just simply amazing! Do notupgrade to noodles the rice bowls... Not worth it. Read more

Nice little place! We got the Hong Kong noodle bowl, pork dumplings, and soy sauce eggs (the soy sauce marinated eggs were SOOO... good!!!). There are no fountain drinks but they do have a variety of bottled non-soda drinks, as well as water. Read more

Excellent flavors! Fairly small menu, but great options for people with varying pallets. We got the vegan fried dumplings and... they were perfectly fried and had lots of flavor. The Vegan red chili oil wonton had a really great sauce and balance offlavors. I really enjoyed the Chili Garlic Noodle Special, but the flavors weren't as vibrant as the Red Chili dish. The friedrice was good too, our little guy enjoyed it and it was a good portion. Read more
