Don Ramon's restaurant is a fun atmosphere for lunch and dinner time. I showed up during the lunch hour and ordered their... Raspberry Margarita and Coctel de Camaron. Their food tastes authentic and the artwork depicts the Mexican city of Monterrey,N.L., where my mother was born. The music is nostalgic and the service was top notch! Bringing my mom next time! The atmosphere was great, staff was so friendly. We went on a Thursday evening and they had some entertainment which was very... nice. He was singing great songs and even took request. So let's get to the food... I ordered the Carnitas a la Mexicana all Ihave to say is the presentation was wonderful however the meat was so tough well I'll just leave it at that (left the wholeplate.) The beans and rice had a good flavor. We also ordered a beef enchilada which was good, and the Burrito Texanos which wasok. All and all for us this will be a one stop meal. Hey for each there own right! Read more

The restaurant and bathrooms were clean and there is great parking. The service could have been better but I think she may have... been new but the staff is very nice. The food was bland the shrimp enchiladas the red sauce was watery with no flavor. The Chilecon queso was very thin and watery as well. The green sauce for the chips were good. It may have been a bad day I will try themagain on a different day and see if it's better. Read more

Margaritas are fantastic! Food was good. Came for a work dinner and had a blast. The guy who does live music keeps it going.

**4-11-22 Update** Received some feedback SOME11 months later. ??????? Response from the owner- "I guess if you stay home it's... best thank you" **ORIGINAL REVIEW** Unfortunately I would not recommend eating here. The food was average at best with a fewissues. I had the lunch chicken fajitas with charro beans and rice. I also had a single cheese enchilada (I always have to trythe red sauce at new places). While the chicken did have "grill marks", the texture reminded me of boiled chicken thrown on thegrill; it had zero flavor despite coming out sizzling . Also, both the beans and rice had a slight fishy taste and smell, probably from some reused pans or utensils. The single cheese enchilada was the best tasting item I had at lunch (not shownbecause it was not put in with the rest of my order). Read more

A typical but very good Tex Mex restuarant. I ordered from the lunch menu the Texas Enchiladas (beef) (8.25). The Spanish rice... was done well, and not mushy, and had a slight aromatic flavor to it. One on the best I ever had. Beans were good as well, moreto the runny side. The enchiladas (2} had very moist ground beef in them without being greasy. Red sauce was bright and freshwith plenty of cheese sprinkle on top of it. Service was excellent. My meal was served within 10 minutes of ordering. I wouldvisit again if I am in the area. Read more
