Never get my sandwich how I request. Sad part is the ?owner? makes them. Have been coming here for the past 8 years and the... quality has gone down. I spend more then 60$ every time all I ask if for extra butter bc the bread is so hard it hurts my monthand the meat is so dry. And the other request is to have it cut in the middle. I ask to speak to the manager or the owner andwas told the owner was the one that made my sandwiches so I wasn?t able to complain to anyone because the phone wasn?t passed toanyone. The people in the front always have a long face and are kinda rude. Like check your self leave what ever is bother youat home! If you don?t want to be there look for another job because this is not it. Horrible place I?m going to stop goingthere. This is sad. Read more
Their food is good but they have the worst service. This Hispanic cashier man had a very nasty attitude and he acted like he... owns the place, maybe he?s the new owner???I ordered through the phone - 3 banh mi and an order of egg rolls.I didn?t realizehow expensive it is now due inflation and I was looking at their old menu from years ago that they never updated the price.Hesaid total was $25 something when I got there.I only have $20 cash so I told him sorry and can he put away the egg rolls order,he said no because he already made it and can?t sell to anybody. I've been going to Don Cafe since high school, so over a decade. I generally just get pork banh mi to go. The prices have gone... up over the years, but the sandwich is still great! Note that this shop is CASH ONLY. They don't accept card, Venmo, Zelle,etc. So be sure to bring some cash on you! At the time of posting, pork banh mi are $5 each on the dot. Read more

I have been dining at Don Cafe for many years, and something I can confirm is that they sell one of the best Banh mi?s in that... area. The prices have gone up over the years which is understandable. Something?s they could improve on is on their customerservice, the servers should be more attentive and friendly, the cashiers also never give you a receipt unless you ask for it. Read more
