First time getting food from here, we got their Original Soy Garlic Wings and the Karaage (Japanese Fried Chicken) to-go,... brought it 20 miles away to the suburb of Sugarland and both chicken dishes stayed surprisingly warm and CRISPY!!! The OriginalSoy Garlic Wings were evenly coated, and not too saucey. The Karaage pieces were thick, juicy and crunchy. Both dishes wereserved in generous portions and well packaged, without any spilled sauces. For drinks, we had a coffee milk tea with boba, which were soft and chewy, and a berry peach fruit tea, which was refreshing. Sugar level can be adjusted and drinks weresurprisingly not watered down when delivered. Personally, I am most impressed by the high quality, reusable to-go bags theypacked our to food in. Read more

The tables and the atmosphere is very sticky. The ramen and beef curry bowl is not great at all. They used frozen peas, corn,... and green beans to cheap out on the ramen. The Beef Curry had more rice than carrots, potatoes, and beef. You will waste moremoney than what its worth to buy a meal and a drink here. Your cook is terrible, go back to culinary class fool. Nice and clean. The prices are quite high but the drinks are very good and you can choose your sweetness level and ice. They... have Ramen and poke Bowls. I haven't tried them yet, only a few appetizers. I would recommend this place for mainly the drinkshowever. Read more

This place is so beautiful! It is a bit pricey, but it?s worth it. For my first time I ordered french fries, coffee milk tea, a... side of rice and a beef curry bowl. The french fries were good! The beef curry bowl was good, but I wish it had a lot moreseasoning though. The portion is way more than enough. I ordered an extra side of rice just in case if there was any soup leftover and there was (just not enough for all of the extra rice). The coffee milk tea was great (you can choose if u wantboba/sugar level). They gave me a reusable bag for my leftovers and all of the food came in reusable containers! Great food, employees, and drinks! The price and the wait time (not crazy but you?ll notice it) is the only thing stopping me from giving it5 stars! Read more

For those who are new to UH, this is a very new restaurant that had to endure a long summer with no students and few businesses.... They stayed open and adjusted their employees due to low demand. We all want cheap eats for students, I get it. 30 ft fromthis location was a glorious China Star with super cheap Asian food, a blue print of UH for over 20 years. Their lease didn?tget renewed to make space for more modern dining. This location where Domoishi is housed, has had many good Asian restaurantscame and gone (Cafe 101 on Bellaire was there too). You will not get 6 pieces of Korean wings for $8.50 at the food truck(trust me, I stood at the long line, in the hot sun, ordered them wings plenty of times). The boba milk tea is $5.95, inclusiveof boba, the fruit tea is inclusive of rainbow jelly; others, you have to pay for the toppings. (Note, if your self order atthe kiosk, it will charge for boba when you select it, the business needs to fix this, until then, I order at the counter whenordering boba). Their poke is decent and consistent with market pricing at other poke places. I?m a foodie and I have eaten atmany places including cheap eats and the much more upscale ones. The bottom line is, I would support them rather than trash andgive them one star reviews because that one time they were running the business with one employee or because it took a while toget your boba tea. I support them so they can stay in business and I can get my boba tea, poke fix and the deliciously crunchyspicy soy Korean wings within walking distance. Think about that! We do not have another boba tea on campus (only way outthere, on Scott), or ramen, poke and well, those crunchy wings. I agree the business owner needs to work on staffing before the40000 students hit campus next week. I wish them all the success. Read more
