So I had called at about 1 in the morning for it to go order and never got an answer so I decided to go in instead. I was... greeted by a what seemed like a very upset server, upset with me being there. They had informed me that they were behind thatthey were overwhelmed because there was only two people there to cook and her the waitress and that there was a customer who wasupset with their meal and arguing with the cook. I asked if she would like to call the police to handle the matter and then Icould order my food, she then said we may have to but it's going to be 20 minutes before I can even get to you. I mind you therewas only one table in the restaurant and they ended up leaving because they were unhappy as well. I've waited tables especiallyat midnight or after hours and the server should be able to handle more than one table same with the cook especially at aDenny's that's 24 hours. Anyways she was rude she was mad that I was there and the fact that they couldn't handle the impoliteor upset customer was beyond me. I usually don't leave bad reviews but in this case it was necessary. We used to eat there quitea bit but I probably won't be coming back. Read more
Had take out., bought strawberry pancake meal for me and the steak melt meal sandwich for my daughter. She said her bread was... on wrong like the cook didn't care to match the bread up before cutting the sandwich. And to me her sandwich didn't lookanything close to like the picture advertised. She said the sandwich tasted good but, just backwards bread and it had pickleson it. See this is what she meant about her bread being backwards. So the cook didn't care when he cut the sandwich that he hadplaced the bread wrong. Read more
Denny's is just beside my apartment. We went there mostly for late-night food. Whenever we went there the staff helped us... thoroughly. They provide the food just like you have ordered. The food served here is always hot, fresh, and delicious. And theprice of the food is cheap. I highly recommend this place. Read more
A VERY GOOD DENNY'S..... AT LEAST EARLY MORNING :) This review is based solely on my experience and personal opinion. I went... to this Denny's restaurant on a Saturday early morning, 12/11/21, and it was our first time here. FOOD: I ordered the SLATEDCARAMEL & BANANA CREAM BREAKFAST and STRAWBERRY CREPES.. Everything was really good, Denny's standards. everything had a greatflavor, and I loved the pancakes, fluffy, soft, and the topping was over the top!!! you could literally taste the eggs, thebutter, the cream, fresh ingredients. Crepes were Sensational and the strawberry filling was really good. Eggs were well madeand soft, but not mushy. They made us wait a little bit, but it was absolutely worth it. The bowl of fruit was good, goodselection of fresh fruit. and you could tell it was fresh. Coffee was good, strong intense aroma and freshly made, just like Ilove it. STAFF: OUR server was super nice... she went above and beyond by bringing me actual whole milk for my coffee and bybeing honest about the "not fresh" orange juice (that I decided to order anyway :). my server was nice, friendly, welcoming andprofessional. She made sure WE had everything I needed and wanted and treated me as a respected customer. GREAT customer careand attention to details. And to be fair, everybody was friendly and welcoming. CLEANLINESS: the overall cleanliness of theplace was very good. and I was pleasantly surprised to see an army of employees constantly cleaning the tables and the benches.They cleaned and sanitized my table right before they let me sit. Amazing. RESTROOMS: restrooms were nice and clean. hand soap,paper towels, toilet paper and hand sanitizer. very clean. PRICES: Denny's standard prices, nothing unusual. Cheap. LOCATION:good location, right on Westheimer road.... nearby are all the stores you can possibly need and dream of. This was my first time here. We were two and we were passing by early in the morning. The restaurant was empty and they sat us... right away. The restaurant filled pretty quickly so we got lucky to receive our meal promptly. The food tasted fresh and withflavor. I WANTED the Bourbon Steak and Banana Salted Caramel Pancakes, only to get a T-Bone steak and normal caramel pancakes instead... and they didn?t even bother telling me they were out of what I wanted from the former until AFTER they served me the latter. Icould?ve cancelled my order, but no! Goodie. If that weren?t enough, it appears this place is inhabited by the PoliticallyCharged. I hate them. Worst Denny?s I?ve ever eaten at! Screw this joint!
