So fresh and tasty. A wonderful variety of flavors and inventive combinations. The garden supplies most of the fresh vegetables... and it shows in the pops of flavor from the herbs and garnishes. The experience is interactive with the chefs right in thecenter of the dining room so you can watch the attention that goes into every course. This place is not hyped up enough. What an experience! I adored everything about my night at Degust; from the fantasy themed... entry room and sparkling wine start, to the golden girls photos all around, and the main dining room with the music, lighting,energy, and ambiance - Gold. Oh and I haven't even mentioned the fabulous food yet! That lobster ceviche was another level. AndI loved interacting with the chef, som, and the entire crew. They know how to tell a story and make you feel right at home. Thepace was actually a bit fast and I wish I had a tad more time to savior the food but the portions were a great size and I washappily full at the end. The music does get loud but the sound track was great. I highly recommend only going in pairs since alarger group would never be able to converse over all the noise. That being said, my girlfriend and I had a fabulous time. Thedrink pairings were different and interesting and I loved trying wines I would have never picked on my own. This is a great experience! You are greeted warmly at the door and catered to throughout the night. The staff are so fun and... enthusiastic. The food is interesting and well planned. Chef concept. Went for a big celebration and was not disappointed. For us this was a first time to experience a curated meal to... this extent. What we appreciated the most was the narrative and the insane amount of thought and creativity that went behindeach dish and ambiance. Their dishes reflected each chefs unique contribution to their culinary expertise along with what theywere harvesting in the backyard garden. Fantastic experience! Read more
Such an amazing experience! From decor, to food, wine pairing, service, their own garden they get food from and special touches... throughout the night I would (and already have) recommend this place to anyone who loves good food and an exceptionalexperience! How the space is laid out is to sit 20 guest with 10 on each side and everyone has a great view of everything goingon. They also have custom plexiglass barriers to divide up parties. In a tasting menu restaurant like this I feel like the most important thing next to the food is the vibe. You feel very welcome... here. You are encouraged to eat the dish how ever you want to eat the dish. It?s elevated food without the feel of needing toact the part to eat here. The food was awesome and Greg was exceptional at not only pairing the drinks, but also giving a widevariety of regions and types of drink. Javier and Rico were awesome at explaining beyond what the dish was, but also why theydid it and where the parts came from. Their team was fabulous the whole time.
