I love hot chicken sandwiches and trying different ones but this ain't it. It's ok just not great. I asked for the reaper spice... level and it wasn't even hot. Like I wonder if they actually seasoned it or just gave me a regular sandwich. I even had myfriend try it since they can't take spicy food and they confirmed it was not hot at all. So this was a great disappointment forme as I love spicy foods. By the second slider the sandwich was just boring and flavorless. For the price, this was a waste ofmoney. I love the food here. Everything was good. The fries were fresh, the chicken was cooked to perfection and it wasn?t dry, but... moist. My son recommended this place to me so I had to get his to go, because he wasn?t with me and it was still good when Imade it home.Ms Pat is awesome! She is very friendly and funny. I had Dave?s Hot Chicken (Wallisville Rd)for the first time today. I ordered the #1 two tenders & fries. It was pretty good. The... seasoning on the chicken was delicious. I tried it without the Dave?s Sauce and it was still good. I later decided to add theDave?s sauce and honey for a tasty combo on top of my chicken tenders. The crunch of the chicken was superb and the fries werehot and crunchy. I got the medium flavoring and it was just the right amount of heat for my taste. If you are more adventurousand (unlike me) if you don?t have heartburn, then try hot. Lol Customer service was great! It's not as good as I thought it would be. For the price I would expect it to at LEAST come with a drink. A #2 is enough for 2... people. The sliders are pretty big. Flavor wise, it wasn't it for me I rather stick to Mico's. We were also give expired sauce.Definitely try at least once after the hype dies down and make your own conclusions. Read more
Overall, I do not recommend this place. It?s overpriced and not worth the grand opening hype. The chicken was extremely over... seasoned to the point where a layer of dusty seasoning layers the interior of your mouth. You?ll need water to wash thatsaltiness down your throat. The seasoning smell like chorizo. The fries were crispy but salty. The best thing in my medium heatslider combo were the pickles. Oh yeah, and the Dave?s sauce is expired. First time customer at Dave?s Hot Chicken. The food was good. The fries were exceptionally good. They were very crispy and well... seasoned. The chicken was hot and crispy. I went with the medium level. Although I liked the chicken I felt that the breadinghad too much seasoning on it. I?m a huge fan of Mac n cheese so I ordered it here. It was decent. Overall I would rate thechicken combo a 4. Pricing wise, we paid $29 for 2 combos and a side of Mac n cheese. Drinks not included. Read more
Awesome customer service, cashier went above and beyond made the entire experience memorable and gained a lifelong customer. The... food was amazing! I prefer the sliders with extra Dave's secret sauce. Be careful with the heat levels mild is a perfect balanceand enjoyable, hot is a big jump and I could not venture beyond that. You have to sign a waiver if you try the reaper, the namesays it all. Read more
