Wow, I drove 30 plus minutes from Spring to get here. I'm new to Houston and exploring the city. I had a desire for beignets and... Google led me to this nice,clean, and friendly place. I ordered 3 in total for under $5. The customer service was pleasant. Aman hand made them from scratch right before my eyes. I dined in and was served my beignets while seating. When I tell youthey're so delicious, fresh, hot and squares of heaven I kid you not . They're so gooooooood !!!! I will definitely be back asthis will be my new place of choice when I crave them! The food is good. I usually get the blackened chicken pasta. Beignets are superb. Never burnt. Customer service could use some... work. 8/10 times I call no one picks up the phone. Then I could go inside and there?s 1 or 2 customers. When brought to theirattention, its met with not hearing the phone or they?re not the person who answers. Also, they?re frequently out of items ontheir menu or the card machine is down etc. Read more
My second visit and everything was excellent. The vibe is straight up New Orleans. The beignets, blackened chicken salad,... muffalatta,and catfish po-boy delicious. Last time I had a seafood gumbo with a delicious muddy dark roux the way I like it. Theseasoning and spice hit my tongue just right. A great place with a friendly vibe. Read more
I have to give this place a raving review! Firstly, only two people working at the time which isn?t ideal but I?d still like to... acknowledge how fast and thorough their customer service was. I thought it would take awhile until we would be able to eat butit was the opposite. The chicken and sausage gumbo was probably one of the best i?ve had?ever (in Texas). I also ordered thered beans and rice and a shrimp po boy. Everything was hot and fresh! Couldn?t not get the beignets of course! Was everything Ihoped. Definitely will be back. Read more
My 1st time trying This Business for lunch i ordered the crawfish tails and shrimp through uber eats. By the time it arrived it... was sweating through the container which means my fries where soggy and the shrimp where bit size i was looking for whole friedshrimp for the price. I was not impressed im glad i got a $25 dollar off coupon because I would have been mad to purchase thisfood with my money. Read more
Good food it was so good it was gone! I came for beignets because I have never had one and left with a whole meal and dessert.... And I didn't make it out the door ended up dining in.. My only critique is that the food needed just a pinch more seasoning Iunderstand people have allergies and maybe that's why it wasn't too heavy. But when I think of Cajun food I'm looking for thatbold, punch of flavor you know? ????All in all; staff were friendly and professional. Not sure what's happened lately but the last 2 times we've come to purchase the beignets they have been sour. Possibly the milk... they're using is spoiled and unfortunately we've had to trash them. Read more
