My wife bought some shrimp fried rice and it was a joke ! I placed a penny on the plate for reference . This is supposed to be... famous , I don?t think so ! Over priced and the shrimp were tiny . Connie's was great. It was lunch time on a Sunday, so it was very busy. We sat at the bar. The bartender was very good and... friendly. The food came out fairly quick despite every table being taken and on a wait. I will be visiting this place regularly. Read more
Pretty action packed on the weekends, but no wait. Great service! The fried fish is probably the best I have ever had, for the... price. Fried shrimp is excellent! Fried rice is superb! Can't go wrong at Connie's. The stuffed crab, I would rate a 2. I willpass on that! They have a security guard on duty! Read more
Had the pleasure of meeting the owner she came out and sit with us and we talked about Louisiana seafood for a while. What a... wonderful little spot I?m glad I found it. It?s difficult when you live in Texas and you?re from Louisiana and you go tosomeplace that claims to be able to cook Cajun food and no one in the kitchen has ever even been to Louisiana. Good basic lunch spot (could be dinner too). Quick, attentive, friendly staff. Popular at lunch. The sea bass was tasty and... cooked well. The shrimp fried rice was great. The salad could be better, it was just a few pieces of iceberg lettuce and atomato on top. Reminded me of burger toppings more than a salad. I would come back and try more dishes. Read more

The food is incredible delicious. They also give you quite a bit as well. Had to get a couple of to go boxes.
