Came for mimosas and the chilaquiles and ended up with mimosas and the chicken wings (crunchy, juicy and perfectly sauced) and... waffles with the bourbon syrup; added on the pork belly- AMAZING. My boyfriend got the brisket monte cristo with raspberrypreserves sauce and fresh roasted jalapeños ????- sweet and savory taste was delicious- I really think he choose this for thefries: also seasoned very well, definitely needed a girlfriend portion. This place is terrible? and expensive, this pile of garbage food cost over $70 with two soft drinks. The fries were under... cooked, the brisket was dry, the cilantro was wilted, the birria tacos were bland and burned. I?ve had better food served to meby gas stations. The Cobos atmosphere is unlike any other in the area & you never know what local celebrity you might run in to while you?re... there. People are friendly, food is great, unique & worth the price. You get what you pay for! It is one of my favorite placesto eat when I?m in the Houston area. Read more
Cobos is the truth. No fall off from his food truck to his newly opened restaurant. It?s as good as advertised. In the pics are... the boudin mac and cheese quesadilla with brisket. & The smoked barbacoa tacos. Pro tip, these quesadillas are amazing the nextmorning?.. The food don?t disappoint. It?s a great spot to watch sports and a must spot to hit before any Rockets, Dymmo &Astros pre gaming. 5/5 stars. And honestly That?s too low for a place like Cobo?s. Do not recommend. The birria tacos were just plain.meat had no flavor and the sauce didnt add much to it either. The wings were... disgusting. The menu didnt specify which flavor but it was nasty.the only good item was the brisket quesadilla. Sweet tea wasgross too. Buffalo chicken quesadilla was not bad. Read more
