When we arrived there was no hot pizza on the buffet line the few pizza that was there looked old. It took them FOREVER to put... new pizza out. Mind you the location was almost packed. 10.5.2022 @ 7:40PM The cashier didn't have a name tag on so I don't know what her name is, but she initially was going to... charge me full price for a BBQ pizza with no meat as the same as a BBQ pizza with meat instead of the price for just a largepizza like ALL the other Cicis do. She claimed that it's the BBQ sauce and not the meat that makes it a specialty. However, meatclearly cost a lot more than sauce. So the fact that she would even let that come out of her mouth. And I would hope Cicis as afranchise doesn't think like that. I find it disturbing that it's always in the financially-lower-class areas where Iexperience issues like this where they try to overcharge. It's quite pathetic and unethical. Buffet is basically EMPTY. No food available all across the buffet line (maybe ONE pizza to choose from). I went with my family... expecting to have a quick lunch but clearly this location is not to eat and just sit around. We didn't stay. Such adisappointment considering I hadn't visited Cicis in years and was looking forward to the family time. Read more
Almost didn't come because of all the bad reviews from a few months ago, but I said "what the hey" it can't be no worse then the... ones on Bellaire and S Gessner. And I REFUSE to go back to the either one of those, because they are unprofessional and nobodyspeaks a lick of English! But I drove 17 mins to Gulfgate, in hopes of a good experience. And that's what I got. It's very roomyin here. The staff was a little dry but they weren't rude. Pizza was coming out hot and fresh. The sweet tea was good and my 2year old approved her pizza and her brownies. My favorite was the salad bar! It was all fresh and best of all, I was able toserve it myself unlike the one on S Gessner (they fix it for you)! So good job Gulfgate location. I was very pleased.Finally!!!!! Read more
The place was nice and clean. Very spacious. They kept the food going on the buffet tables. We didn't have to wait long for any... of the pizzas to be replaced. It was not crouded at all. Friendly staff! Read more
They didn't open at 11, but around 11:10 or so. Came here for Pi day and was hoping to use a nice coupon I found online. The... lady there didn't know about the promotion so it took awhile to figure out. It turns out the deal wasn't even that great.Anyway, I hadn't been to a Cici's in a few years. It's much more mediocre than I remembered it to be. All the pizzas were just..okay. I probably won't be back for a long time. Read more
This cicis needs more staff. When we got there there was no clean booths available. All available tables were dirty with pizza... and napkins on the floor. We asked the guy if he could clean the table. But he went in to clean other tables while we werestanding waiting for him to clean our table. Then he proceded to take 2 plates from the table left to drop those 2 plates andcame back to take 3 plates and left again to drop those 3 plates. But did not wipe the table. We ended up wiping the tableourselfs. Looks like he doesn't like to work there or was trying to be rude by taking his time and not doing his jobcorrectly. Read more
