Below average food, nothing was tasty or how it?s supposed to be. There are way better places in Houston for chaat and dosas.... Not sure how this place has 4+ stars, very misleading. All time fav veggie restaurant. I was literally having it every week before the pandemic. Nice clean place. Food comes fast. I... usually have the rakkachori. I love their dahi bora, papri chat and the chat platter too. Bhelpuri is not so good for me. Mykids love the plain dosa, Bombay grill sandwich and the special sandwich too. We went to the restaurant for dinner nd ordered chaat platter, raj kachori, mysore masala dosa and chowpatty falooda for desert.... Enjoyed everything specially the chaat platter. Chaat platter had samosa chaat, Dahi puri, Dahi bhalla & papdi chat. Dosa andchutneys were good, but the sambhar was just average. Falooda was also yummy not overly sweet. Had such a good experience thatwent again for next day lunch. This time ordered vada pav and pav bhajji. Again vada pav was tasty n authentic but pav bhajjiwas a bit disappointing. Visited this place after reading a lot of positive reviews and it's fair to say I was not disappointed. Had the authentic Indian... flavored food after a long time in US. I am from Denver which has 35+ Indian restaurants but not a single one can match thetaste offered by Chowpatty. Will highly recommend this place for chaats. Read more
