The best Chinese food I have ever had! It isn?t a buffet, but has large portions for dinner. I?m definitely going to go again!!

Wonderful service and great food and portions. We got the meal deal for 4 people and we left with tons of left overs.

The place used to have a buffet all you can eat....and it was great. But now they don't have it no longer because of the covid... thing back when. I feel if they don't do the buffet thing any time soon this place could close down.....never have anyone thereeating anymore like B4. Thats a sad thing. ???? I used to frequent this establishment when they first opened this location in 2005, the food, atmosphere, price and service were... exceptional. Regardless if it was lunch or dinner, the huge facility was almost always full of happy customers. We moved out ofthe 7 years ago and we just moved back. Saw the place as we were driving past towards Baytown and on the way back we stoppedanticipating that same old experience. It was quite shocking quite frankly, COVID had struck again! The buffet was no longer,and at lunchtime, the place had three tables occupied. The food and service were still exceptional and the price still a greatvalue, but it was truly sad to see. I wish the owners a return to the golden days of a full restaurant with many many happycustomers as it was before COVID. Read more

It was a 5 star as a buffet?the best wonton soup ever! I know for a fact they are missing out on lots of customers because Mr Ko... will not reopen the buffet. Shame what Covid did to this world. On to the next restaurant sorry China Ko Read more

I have ate at this place for years and even as a kid. As of 08/01/22 they still have yet to reopen the buffet. Everyone else has... their buffet tables open. Everyone else has HAD their buffet tables open for a long time. Im extremely disappointed with themfor this. Guess i will have to find another chinese buffet. Its too much to unload my wheelchair just to come inside to pick upa food order then try to load up right away like that and be able to make it home to have a hot meal. China ko needs toreevaluate opening the buffet for sure. Read more

We "HAD" been going to Chino Ko since it was over on Woodforest and did go when it went over to Beltway 8 and became a buffet.... But, NO... NO, people would allow their offspring run all around, reaching for food over the steam table... NOPE! Stopped going.Then we heard that China Ko had stopped being a buffet... GREAT NEWS! It no longer feels like you're eating in an aisle atWalmart as these people's offspring run ramped as they're in a park. I hate it when parents FAIL to parent their offspring,thinking no one mines "because they're just kids". Good move China Ko! Read more

It's my first time in a long time coming to China Ko. They are not doing the buffet right now. However, they still give you... tons of food when you order! The food was good and the service was solid. Read more
